Yggdrasil shook Aegnor to wake him up, it was starting ot get really cold and the snow was startng to come down. he pulled his cloak tighter around him. he brushed some snow off of Lord. it was ridiculous, you'd think he'd be used tot he cold by know spending all that time in Skyrim, he'd be used to the cold by now. but he wasn't he obviously was getting spoilt spending all that time in the warmer regions. he pulled his neck scarf up to just past his nose to keep his face warm.
Yggdrasil sighed and shook himself, shaking off the snow collecting on him and Lord. he knew it wasn't the cold getting to him. he knew exactly what it was...skooma.
he needed the skooma he hated it. he couldn't sneak any here were to many others around, and Aegnor was here. he, sighed and shivered some more looking about at the scenery. well what he could see of the scenery snow was falling thick and heavy you could hardly see anything in front of you. he was glad the motely crew he was traveling with had the smarts to stay together in this weather.
Yggdrasil could barely hear Jauffree talking to martin, the falling snow softeneing any sound. but he did hear that cloud ruler was approaching.
~~~~
Aegnor woke to a gentle shake to his shoulder. and shivered. he reached into his pack on the horse and wrapped himself in his cloak. d**n the cold, he hissed to himself. it was just warm the last he knew and now it was cold. he untied the band keeping his hair up letting it fall and keep his neck and ears warm.
he smield to Yggdrasil in thanks you, as he took notice of his horses reigns tied on Yggdrasil's horses pommel. he brushed off some snow from his mare and pulled on some leather gauntlets Yggdrasil handed to him.
Aegnor was worried about a great deal many things. one of them was Yggdrasil something was wrong, he knew yggdrasil never greated people so cold and calously. he was worried about martin and that whole situation...and for some reason he kept thinking of Yggdrasil was tied to it somehow. third was Falcan he seemed like he really didn't want to be here, that we were forceing him to be here. and then there was Tulgor he looked down to her walking next to him and his mare. she was shivering slightly, he was worried could she be cold blooded. she was a lizard? but Argonians were lizard...like right? since Tulgor was a deadra she should be warm blooded? it looked like it. he sighed he honestly didn't know.
he looked around noticing it was getting rather hard to see, he knew bruma's walls were yards away he could barely make out the stone work. the snow was falling thick and heavy, it made for a perfect sound buffer. any noise they were making was quieted. he herd one fo the blades next to him say something. "were almost there..." "good we need to get out of this storm..."
Falcan seemed to look down most of the time as if watching where his horse was stepping though hardly the case. As he saw Bruma vanishing in the distance he knew well how far they were from the Cloud Ruler Temple….not Far by much, the cold wasn’t really bothering err well least he didn’t notice it was, he was dressed for it more or less, but his hair and shoulders were turning white his nose been red if it was uncovered. His ears for once showing due to the weight of the snow in his hair, lightly pointed at the tips. He was In deep thought, people ahead most likely thought him to be a ice cube by now? He looked up and yawned then looked to the elves ahead of him….something off feeling coming from one of them, and ahead of them Martin and the others seemed alright. Thank goodness.
He then paused and tried to hold back a sneeze but shook it off along with the snow out of his hair. “call me Falcan the snowman.” he brushed his hair back then looked at his numb hands before patting the horses side and riding a little farther up towards the others, but yet not to close.
Closer and closer, well least his heart pounding in his chest kept him awake, and blood moving instead of freezing, but he felt like his heart was incased in ice as the building was seen in the far distance, though most likely due to his imperfect sight and the snow it was most likely his eyes and mind playing tricks on him, regardless it was really there so it didn’t matter one way or the other…..
He sighed and pulled his heavy cape into one hand and nodded to Ygg and Aegnor. “here.” he nodded. Handing it toward them. “use it, I’m got plenty, and if you don’t need it, just pass it on to Martin or something.” he looked away and trailed back a little ways once more. What was it? Why couldn’t he stand to be around them?! Not really the elves but all of them, it was annoying….and seemed to stick him hard.
Yggdrasil looked at the tall walls of the fortress, as they creaked open in front of the small group. he held a hand over his forehead to keep some of the show from his face as he looked up to see shadows of the men on the wall within the deep white which seemed to be getting worse. He was glad he'd be getting out of the snow, he was cocld a fire sounded good and maybe he'd be able to slip some skooma into his drink. that would work and no one would know. he rode Lord up the steps carefully, though there really wasn't any steps the snow was packed to were it was a slope riding up was esay on the horse.
yggdrasil got off Lord and a blade took the horse to the stable along with everyone else's. Yggdrasil followed jaufree and the other's inside.
~~~~ Aegnor was slightly impressed by the structure so well kept over the long years the AKaviri had been gone...well he would say so later but at the moment he was lucky he saw the doors open. unlike yggdrasil who was a bosmer they were known for good hearing and eye sight. altmer's were good and so were dunmer but not as good as the bosmer.
his mare and tulgor walked up the steps easily, and when they went to take the mare away he offerd to help but they shook ther head and he had no choise but to follow the others inside. he watched yggdrasil go in, and turned to Falcan. "are you alright?"

Things didn’t seem to change much….same doors, same feeling it was old and cold, all that mattered wasn’t it? He got of his horse an re-fixed his capes around his neck before watching the Blade take his horse to the stable, seemed he had no choice, but he’d be able to leave sooner then later right? He took a deep breath then exhaled, his breath would had been seen in the air but his mouth was still covered. He looked to Aegnor, as the elf spoke to him. “heh…” he smirked half heartedly. “I….don’t know.” he shook his head. “I mean…this is all new…and old to me.” he stated looking around, it was almost as if his scar throbbed with pain, but he knew it was only in his mind.
“Mixed with emotions I thought I be rid myself of it all.” he smiled fakely and nodded. “but lets go, It wont kill me, to stick around for a little longer.’ he added, was he planning on leaving, or just telling himself that, he didn’t seem to know… “don’t worry about me….Is your friend alright?” he asked.

Aegnor nodded " i honestly don't know if he's okay....somethings wrong i know it." he paused and sighed. "its affected him greatly. that i know he normally isn't so calous. he is right though he has been threw alot..." Aegnor furrowed his brows trying to remember what a old friend of Yggddrasil's said.
*`~`*flashback*`~`*
Aegnor was talking to this Darkelf that knew Yggdrasil.... "alright, he was just here how long ago?"
"he left about one month ago, his father's men were after him." the dark elf rumbled out. "ah thanks so much were did he go?" "are you one of?" "no" Aegnor said and pulled out a necklace the exact same as yggdrasil's. "ah there are some things you need to know...." *`~`*
Aegnor'e eyes widdened. "i can't believe i forgot! oh cam..." he turned and almost ran inside.
~~~~ Yggdrasil sat himself down on a chair by the fire place. warming himself up and grabbing a ale he quickly dumbed skooma into the tankard, and hide the bottle in his bag. he started to sip on his ale. when martin came and sat next to him. "hello" "hello brother martin was it?" "yes." "i am sorry about how i was earlier, i...have some issues i had to deal with. it definatly was a shock to see Aegnor again. the time it took to get here i have come to terms with seeing a suposed dead man alive." Martin nodded "yes seeing someone who one thoght was dead and is alive and in front of you is a shocking experience." Yggdrasil nodded as he sipped his ale. "i am Yggdrasil by the way." he said while he finsihed his ale, and his skooma. he and martin looked up as Aegnor stood in front of Yggdrasil with a look between furious and deep concern.
" i know..." and the look that crossed Yggdrasil's face was 'oh crap'
“give him time I’m sure things will be alright he’ll come around.” Falcan stated softly, and gave a nod watching the elf walk away. Falcan turned around and looked at things out here, before also entering the main hall, but also kept his eyes low. He took a deep breath and looked around, avoiding eye contact but still he wanted to look around, place was so cozy…and warm. He reached up to remove his capes but stopped there, and just let his arms rest by his sides as he smirked lightly before walking over to a empty seat.
He sighed deeply and looked towards the fire where Martin and the other were, why was he making such a big deal about this? If he stopped and just forgot about it, no one here would probably recognize his face anyways. …… he leaned forward elbow on his knee and chin in his hand. He groaned a little closing his eyes to relax.
Aegnor folded his arms and looked at yggdrasil who looked vastly different facial wise than earlier. "we need to talk yggdrasil." "about what?" "oh something i just remembered Nyorith Redoran spoke to me of..." "what?.." Aaegnor leaned and whispered something in Yggdrasil's ear "...and i'll never abandon you to anything." yggsrasil dropped the bottle in his lap and closed his eyes and seemed like a gigantic relief was lifted from his shoulders. "i..i.. was so afraid?" "that i'd leave you no. never i spent over one hundred years looking for you you'd think i'd leave you over something as small as this?" Aegnor laughed.
Martin had gotten up and saw Falcan sitting by himself. he walked over with two warm glasses of ale. "falcan? would you like a drink?" {zomg so sorry short...i kinda am out of it..}
“huh?” Falcan was watching the floor boards again then looked up at the voice. “M’lord?” he blinked a few times then smiled lightly. “Sure…thank you.” he gave a small nod before taking the glass with one hand then pulled his red cape down away from his mouth, and nodded before taking a small sip. He watched Martin a moment but wasn’t staring. “so….what do you think of this place?” he smiled lightly. “I mean how are you taking things….are you alright?” he asked calmly.
Yggdrasil sighed. "thank you, hope is definitely something no one should give up on." Aegnor raised an eyebrow "I've said that before" "really" Yggdrasil answered with a weak chuckle. "whats wrong?" he said as he sat next to Yggdrasil by the fire. "i know whose behind these attacks..." Yggdrasil said and he seemed incredibly saddened and burdened by that fact. Aegnor furrowed his brows, "then we should tell Martin, the blades and the others?" "they will wish to know how i know....i...don't need to be hunted by a third party now." Yggdrasil sighed.
Aegnor sat back and studied Yggdrasil for a long moment. the bosmer/aylied's hair was caught in the fire light warning the void like black. the rest of him caught in a orange glow from the fire highlighting his solemn features. though is eyes sad and cold looking as they were the fire warmed them, showing the conflict going on inside the hybrid's mind.
"its someone you know." Aegnor said suddenly "you were like this only twice...once when Haymon was killed and when your mother and sisters were murdered publicly."
"your right Aegnor...it is someone i know...you know as well.." he paused obviously really not wanting to say it but went ahead anyway. "it's little Mankar, Aegnor he is the head of a cult called the Mythic Dawn and he serves Mehrunes Dagon he wants to take over the world." Yggdrasil looked to Martin "and that kind man is his final target."
Aegnor's face had disbelief written all over it then something clicked. "and pray tell how do you know this?"Aegnor said while looking at Yggdrasil. "that isn't importent..." he paused at the look Aegnor gave him. "i lived with a member for a while, he was a good friend.." "obviously not that good." Aegnor sounded jealous "no need to be jealous...he...we meet in the arcane university in the city. he joined with Mankar about...say just short of twenty years ago i do believe...no uh..he wasn't a member while i had Zero ...or the others..."yggdrasil continued to mutter to himself about the years Aegnor coughed to get his attention. "oh sorry" Aegnor smiled at Yggdrasil at least somethings never change. "well he approached me. he knew who i am and that mankar was my little cousin i told him. i had no clue he knew him. he extended an invitation for me to join the Mythic Dawn."
"did you accept?" "no" "then i see no problem." "you may not see it that way, but i guarantee the others will. particularly Jauffree...he... i have a feeling he suspects something of me. i herd him say something obviously he thought i couldn't here about the Amulet of King's. i shouldn't have been able to wear it." Yggdrasil stood up "but alas that is a different problem for another day... i say we tell this information to a party more accepting first?" he suggested while nodding in the direction of Martin and Falcan. "yes good idea, tell the hidden secret and the shy one..." "they normally are the more accepting of things." Yggdrasil nodding thinking there was no flaw in that logic. Aegnor rolled his eyes and walked over to Martin and Falcan one step behind Yggdrasil.
Falcan and Martin talked on, funny, Falcan had gotten more used to Martin, but not the Blades members regardless he just couldn’t allow himself to completely relax. Martin seemed to be able to feel the same…imagine…or well Falcan couldn’t imagine how Martin was feeling. But Martin did so well to hide the nervous and excited side of him. Falcan smiled lightly and tipped his glasses emptying it with one last swallow.
Finely his eyes looked up to see the elves walking over, wondering what they wanted, but not in a rude way Falcan watched them curiously. “whats up?” he asked calmly then stood and walked his glass over to small table and set it down, also looked up at the coat rack and sighed pulling his capes away and hanging them there, his shoulders seemed a little sore as he rubbed them walking back over.
"you could say we have some good news and some bad news" Aegnor said folding his arms "well technically..."
"i have the bad news, but good news...pending how you look at it." Yggdrasil finished. he seemed to fidget his feet slightly, as if unsure. yet took the plunge anyway. "i know who is behind the attacks that caused the murder of the emporer and those whom attacked Kvatch..." he paused trying to think of the best way to say this. "do you remember Haymon Cameron? the Aylied king?" he recieved a nod from martin. "first rest assured he is dead, his body was recoverd from the battle...i remember. but it was rumored his mistress was with child and had the babe on the date of his death. " Aegnor gave him a small nudge as to say on with it. "well the attacks is his son, Mankar Cameron. who is the head of the Cult of the Mythic Dawn which serves Mehrunes Dagon. he has the amulet of kings. and with it in his hands you are unable to light the dragon fires which protect this realm."
"but that was the good news." Aegnor said
"the bad news?" Martin asked
"is how i know this information..." Yggdrasil said neither Aegnor, Martin or Yggdrasil saw or heard jauffree hiding behind a pillar the entire time.
Falcan looked at them curiously in truth….not hardly understanding a word they said. Sad he wasn’t book smart least not as much as he was ‘street’ smart. He leaned on the wall arms folded as he paid attention. “I see.” he sighed then looked up at them. “that is useful.” he smirked then paused tilting his head some. “ban news?” he blinked then frowned a little as the elf started saying it was about ‘how he knew that stuff’……Falcan just shook his head. “It don’t matter….to me, how you know.” he said plainly. “don’t change anything less you tend to do something in the future alone.” he added.
"i agree with Falcan. unless you plan on using it tell it when it is needed." Martin stood up. "well then dose this mean we need to tell Jauffree he is the grandmaster of the Blades. " "you can tell him i have a feeling he'd be more inclined to hear you out then me." Yggdrasil spoke to martin.
"no need to tell me a thing." Yggdrasil, and Aegnor whipped around to see Jauffree standing there by the pillar. "you were listening?!" Yggdrasil said barley bitting back the hiss in his voice. "yes you'd be surprised how most Blades learn there information we are the spies of the Empire after all." Jauffree said. "so we know who is behind this but do you know why?" "no" Yggdrasil said flat and plainly, though Aegnor could tell it was a lie. "fine when your ready to talk please don't with hold anything." Jauffree said as he left.
Falcan’s first reaction was to pull his blade, if any other condition but being here or all places, and of course the Blades, he did no such thing. But he couldn’t quite agree with something about Jauffree…. He looked back towards Yggdrasil and Aegnor before glancing at Martin and sighed, a little. “I agree with him…to a degree…please don’t hold anything back.” he nodded, hopefully reassuring Ygg.
But for a moment he paused and thought quietly to himself…about the words that came from his mouth moments ago….. The past didn’t matter? It did…its what made us who we are today…..but on another hand one cant life in it anymore….did he? He thought he didn’t, he moved on with his life since that day. It hurts going ‘back’…….but…if it helps the future….
Falcan paused and rubbed his chin a moment before looking up. “sorry…please. don’t mind me.” he looked a little embarrassed.
Ygdrasil shook his head "i don't trust Jauffree..." he paused before he continues " i don't trust him with anything about me...he seems to be looking for a way to either kill me or...lock me up..." yggdrasil turned to martin "you may say it is no big deal for how i know but to me in the wrong hands it can be disatrious and in the right hands helpful. i will tell you what i do know of the Mythic dawn and why..." he sighed and paused, looking around. "why are you doing this?" Martin asked "because it needs to be done..." yggdrasil said as he began to explain how he knew. ((ooc: i don't want to write it again >.>))
