((Do Yoko and Seraph know each other here? Or did what happened on Draken Heart not happen here?))
Seraph walked, leading her horse by the reins, as she whistled out of tune. She was wandering again, looking for work. Seemed since this whole Empire malarky began there'd been less and less wars, meaning less and less work for an enterprising Spellsword mercenary. The horse snorted as it shied at something it saw, and Seraph halted, looking about, her sword half drawn. She;d learnt to trust her mount's instincts: it had even more sense of self preservation then she did! 'Drat...What a time to be caught out of 'uniform'...' Instead of being in her heavy arnour, which was stowed in bags upon the horse's back, she was in her traveling clothes.

((oh dear....I don't know. XD It's up to you. I'll make it so it can go either way for now.))
Seraph petted the horse's head, sheathing her sword. She left one hand free, however, and looked about with quick, darting movements of her eyes. She muttered under her breath and cast a life detect spell. One of the advantages of being a Spellsword was the fact she could wear heavy armour and throw magic about like nobodies bussiness. bad thing about being a poor spellsword was that she could only afford a rather....lame, life detect spell. She couldn't see more than a couple of feet.

Seraph blinked, her spell wearing off, and sighed. She'd seen no-one. She slapped the horse on the neck and laughed in a forced manner. 'Well, horse-face, seems you messed up this time. You just wanted a rest, didn't you, lazy beast!' Truthuly, she was still shaken. Horse, a she had so wittfuly named her horse, hardly ever made mistakes where hostiles were concerned. She pulled Horse into motion. 'We've got to get to the City by nightfall: we have to stay at the Guild again...'

Seraph stopped again, Horse nearly walking into her back. She leaned against a wall, and squinted at the Imperial City gates, so far down the road. 'Hrm...They might not let us in....It's so near dark....These d**mn Imperials....so paranoid over nothing most likely!' Horse just snorted and shook his head. 'I know, I know! But we won;t make it: they'll just turn us back, and we might fall of the bridge. Looks like we're gonna be camping out again...'

"she seems like just a normal person on the road, i guess theres no reason for this." he put away his knife and stood walking back around the other side of the building makeing it look like hed come from the road as he walked towards the Inn's door, and spared her a passing glaece.

Seraph nodded politely to the Wood Elf that walked by. 'Good evening, sir.' She pulled Horse along behind her as she carried on, looking for somewhere to set camp. Maybe the elf was what Horse had smelled earlier? She'd be extra careful, then.

"hum?" he turned slightly towards her and smiled. "yes thank you and good evening to you." he he nodded then *UMPH* the body of his vivtam fell atop him! "whhhaa!?" Yoko screamed. "Hes not payed his bill AND hes sleeping on the job!" the owner of the Inn grumped had toused the body out like trash, even though she thought the man was still alive. "uhg......." X__X Yoko growled.

Seraph swallwoed and stared at the body on the wood-elf, and then stared at the Inn keeper. 'Uhm....That guy you tossed out....Didn't you kinda notice the pallid complexion, the lack of breathing....?' She looked at the Wood Elf, her face paler then usual. Horse stomped, and snorted, as if to say 'I told you so'.

Seraph tosses Horse's reins over his neck. The big, bay stallion stood still, watching his rider as she walked over to the inn-keeper. She felt for a pulse, and then looked up at the wood elf. 'She's fine. Just out of it. She'll get up soon, methinks.' She stood and wiped her hands on her tunic. 'I wonder how that bloke died....? Sir Bosmer, can you see any wounds on him?' She assumed that the Bosmer was fine: he'd yelped loudly enough for him to have sustained no hurt.
