Job: Mercenary. Was asked to join the Blackwood Company, but declined after finding out about the Hist problem.
Weapon/s: Akaviri Katana
Powers: Master of Blade, also proficient in Restoration and Illusion magicks
Weaknesses: His clumsy nature.
Appearance: Kai has the structure of a young Argonian in his prime. Subtly toned and broadly build, he wears armor very well, in particular, he wears Ebony Armor. He does not wear a helmet, as he feels it distorts his vision too much. That and it's difficult to find a well fitting helmet for an Argonian outside of the Marshland. The teal colored tales on his face are in the same pattern as any other young Argonian. Though he has always been confused as to why he was Blue. He thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that he wasn't born in the Marshlands, but rather in Northern Morrowind, near Blacklight.
Personality: Kai is particularly outgoing for someone as different as he is. He enjoys spending time in taverns learning about cultures and how other people grew up. When in battle, he protects his companions with his life, and often will stop fighting or merely disable an enemy to save a friend. He rarely takes off his armor, in an attempt to prevent people from seeing his battle-scar riddled body. He hates receiving pity from people, as he feels that he is able to handle his own problems and pain. This has caused him to distance himself somewhat from any companion he has had. Some people believe this contradicts his outgoing nature, saying that he is quickly willing to make friends, but even more quickly willing to send them away. Though, they don't understand he is merely trying to protect them from the countless enemies he's made in his line of business.

History/Past: Born in Blacklight in Northern Morrowind, Kai never knew his parents. When he was older, he would assume his parents were slaves and he was taken from them to serve another family, but later found out that he was actually taken from them to be raised in Cryodill away from the slavery. He grew up in the Imperial City, raised under a female Argonian, who he knew as Leema Roth'nim. After he reached the age of 16, he set out to find a job. He came across Anvil a couple months after leaving the Imperial City. He feel in love with the Harbor city within a month of staying there.
A night at the Flowing Bowl changed his life when he was approached by a young man in need of help. He was asked to find and kill a Goblin Shaman who had stolen the man's engagement ring. Kai accepted and traveled to Atrene Camp, where the Goblin stole the man's ring. The goblin was still there, and Kai quickly dispatched him. After returning with the ring in tow, the young man revealed to Kai that he was actually a recruiter for the Blackwood Company, and that he was testing Kai to see if he was right for the mercenary guild. Kai was eager to accept, but after researching the company, he found out that they were abusing Hist. He refused the offer after learning of the companies habits, but continued working as a freelance mercenary.
He bought a house in Harborside, in Anvil, so that he had a place to rest when he needed it. Though frequently visited the Imperial City to see Leema.

"Mother?" A knock from outside drew Kai to the door. He knew his mother was supposed to visit him, but was still surprised that she had come this early. Opening the door he saw the bright orange scales he grew up seeing.
"Ah my little hatch-ling, how are you?" She hugged Kai, and the un-expecting recipient hugged back.
"Mother, please, you know I don't like it when you call me a hatch-ling." He replied grabbing her bag from the doorway and placing it by his dining table.
"Of course dear," she replied sarcastically, "So this is your home away from home I see?"
"Well I--"
"Nonsense, your home will always be in the Capital, and you know that."
Kai blinked, but didn't say a word. He always failed to win arguments with his mother, even if he knew he was right. She would still pull something that would baffle him into admitting defeat.
"Now, show me Anvil, I haven't been here in ages, so much has changed I bet!" She said grabbing the young Argonian and rushing out of the door.
After taking her to see the Count and the Citadel, Kai took his mother to his favorite spot in Anvil, the dock looking out to the Western horizon. They sat watching the sun disappear behind the horizon, as the orange laden sky faded to black and the stars finally appeared.
"I've missed you hatch-ling, you've grown in to quite the Argonian."
"Thank you, mother."
"I've been meaning to tell you something...and I want you to consider joining me on this," Leema sighed, looking at her adopted son.
"What is it?"
"I am going to travel back to Argonia," she looked up at the stars.
Kai thought for a moment, and almost said yes. He wanted to visit the Black Marsh to see his mother's homeland, but his homeland was Cyrodiil. He shook his head.
"I'm sorry, mother, I have no place there. I feel like, I am meant for great things here. By the nine, I want to see Argonia, but perhaps when I figure out what I am to do here."
She grinned and stood up.
"I'm glad you've grown up into a fine adult, my son," she told him, as he picked himself up, "Now show me this Flowing Bowl you write so much about."
