Falcan panted heavily as he stood slightly slumped men surrounded him. His mismatched eyes somehow these bandits got the drop on him, such a large group he kicked himself for not hearing them, but that was just it, often this happened due to his bad hearing. He breathed in deeply his black blade that curved almost like a large snake’s fang, only it didn’t drip of poison, he didn’t like to add any more power to his attacks if there was a chance someone could live from them, he hated killing, his other hand unsheathed its blade the style was the same except it was gold colored. “Back off!” Falcan shouted and readied himself. The men laughed and started to move in again.
The blond haired man growled and unlatched his cape letting it fall with a flop, one after the other he met blade with blades, dodging other strikes, it was nice to have both his blades, after one having been broken he was stuck with only one for a while, but he hoped he hadn’t let himself get to rusty. He felt a blade nearly nick him the wind off of it even moved his hair, he ducked and slammed a boot into the man’s gut sending him stumbling backwards, Falcan faced the two others that decided to come at the same time. It was hard to say Falcan was either ignoring their words and engrossed in the fight, or his hearing had gotten worse, only it was most likely he was ignoring them. The red scarf like cloth around his neck still hid his lower face and scar. He panted and dodged another attack gracefully but then found that to have been a terrible move! He got a sharp pain in his shoulder, an arrow stuck out a bit of blood rushing out, he groaned painfully twisting to see the shooter, he brought his arm back and one quick motion flung his blade at the archer, whirling though the air, the blade hummed, it made its target but Falcan didn’t think it was a deadly strike unless left alone.
He razed his remaining blade with a grunt three men, others wounded none dead yet. He also hadn’t pulled the arrow out knowing it would cause it bleed more.. But he did reach back and brake off half of it with a painful groan, in his training with the Blades he knew it would be unwise to just yank it out if he couldn’t tend to it, only now he had to be careful not to let these men ram it further inside or something.
Another pair of blade’s clashed sparks and clattering rang out then he quickly disarmed the man then hit him with the hilt of the blade over the head, after the man fell Falcan turned to the remaining and sighed. “are you done!?” he shouted the men flinched looking at their comrades somehow not dead, they however ran at him. With a growl his eyes shimmered he was sick of this! He stuck their blade’s to kill but in that last moment he didn’t let blood lust get to him. And taught the men their places.
Upon leaving he retrieved his blade and cloak and started off alone..
He took a deep breath reaching a place further away from where he left those men he groaned reaching back to the arrow, gripped it tightly groaning he gritted his teeth and eyes closed tight he had a firm grip, kept counting to ‘three’ in his head but couldn’t pull it, hurt a lot, maybe even more so then any other time he’d been shot. He sucked in and gave it a yank pulling it out with one final tug, a yelp of pain escaped his lips he found himself falling to one knee dropping the arrow and clutching his shoulder cursing mildly. He groaned still and sucked a breath in though his teeth before reaching for his pack he could find some supplies in there. He took a healing potion in one hand and pulled the cork off with his teeth and drank it down, healing the wound closed, it still hurt but wasn’t bleeding or risking infection. He sighed deeply and looked up from his spot still on the ground, standing he dusted off and reached for his things again but suddenly found his vision worse, his legs wouldn’t move, before he could question it aloud he looked back at his shoulder and brushed his hand over it, wh-why was it bleeding again!? He groaned and soon found himself colliding with the hard ground after he tired to walk. He’d realized by now, but by now to late……he’d been poisoned by the arrow.
……..dang it. He groaned his shoulder bleeding out but this other pain entered it felt as if it was rotting from the inside out, he knew this most likely wasn’t possible, or he hoped at least. He groaned forcing himself to sit up and tightly wrapped his scarf around the wound though he was lucky to be able to still. Coughing he gathered his things if he could just get to Skigrad, he told himself, walking still dazed, he couldn’t fight like this, struggling just to press forward he was able to see the road below his feet at least. But for how long? Maybe a few hours passed. He found himself on the ground again, trying to get up but he got so tired. Against his own will he ‘decided’ to rest for a little while.

The West Weald, near Skingrad, The Darsky Manor. The large manor sat on the West Weald, an open countryside of southern Cyrodiil, well known for its vineyards and tomato farms. It borders Valenwood and Elsweyr on the south, and the regions Gold Coast on the west, Colovian Highlands and Great Forest on the north, and Nibenay Valley on the east. Ideal place for hunting during the day and during the night.
Veronika only had a bra and raggy shorts on herself. The four Hunters left her premises on her command, they had arrived to inspect recent killings around the area that started a month ago. Victims eaten and devoured by some sort of creature. They have already speculated it to be the Uderfrykte or a Minatour, but the wolf tracks prove it is the obvious. Only a few minutes ago, the Black Horse Courier came and delivered the latest news. Some hilarious, others boring and others worthy of being added to the history of murders in Veronika's library.
The young bedraggled Imperial girl walked down the stairs, reading the latest news and placing them in the shelf inside the library. The entire house was a mess, full of leaves and no candles lit, it was dark, besides the fact that it was daytime. Inside it was large, having six rooms total, a single dining area, a library and a basement. Inside it had ruined furniture and many ancient items recovered by her treasure hunting Uncle, who was a collector and had many interesting things decorating the house. Trinkets, paintings, weapons and more. Although they were there just for decoration, they were worth fighting for incase a bandit or more came along to steal it. Which is why she had two dogs guarding the area. Veronika inherited the house from her Uncle, who just died not too long ago, now she lives here alone, the very place where a Dark Legacy was born and still lives to this very day, along with her. Veronika flipped through the pages of the important people that were found dead years ago all the way to present day. It started with her step-mother, Marrara Darksky.
"Lady Marrara Darsky, owner of the Marna Estate on Skyrim City of Solitude. Her body was found on a moonlight night of Turdas, Rain's Hand. Inside her own home, near her bed. Though it was officially ruled that the Marrara had taken her own life. The condition of her body suggested an attack by a powerful hand. That night. Light frost. Full moons."
Veronika turned another page, this one right after. Eyes frantically searching the pages like they were about to lunge out of her sockets.
"Burd Gelios was a local shepard whose body was found savaged on a distant reach of the Skyrim town. Nordic authorities found it difficult to identify Gelio's corpse due to the extent of his injuries. Both the Shepard and his flock lost their lives during this brutal moonlight attack. That Night. Patchy Fog. Full moons."
Veronika read the past reports, the atrocities that were commited not by her, but her Great Grandfather who was Cursed many years ago before he was slain. It was so strange that she realized this was family. The Black Horse Courier stated.
"The village was shocked on 3E 377, when a favorite stable worker, Linan Jarry, was found mutilated in the West Weald woods. The Yokudan boy was 15 years old and was found in the braches of a tree, severely slashed and missing one foot. It was determined that he climbed the tree to escape his pursuer, but had bled to death from his wounds. That Night. Thick Fog. Full Moons."
Veronika sighed and then flipped another page. The report were endless. This one was commited here, just recently near the Vineyards.
"Imperial woman, Fanasa, worked as an itinerant farm hand on the lands near Skingrad. She was famed to frequent the local ale house, so when villagers glimpsed her lying face down in the moonlight at the edge of town, they assumed she was unconscious. It was not until morning that they discovered she had been killed perhaps attacked by dogs that had torn at her face and bitten deeply into her right side. That Night. Windy. Full Moons"
She closed the large book and stuffed it in the shelf, deciding to go out for a walk in the late afternoon. Veronika left the empty house and walked out into the open. Deciding to go for a stroll out near Skingrad. She had placed on her Laced Leather Pants and Dark Shirt, heading out on foot. It was a long walk, due to where the Manor had been located, convinently placed far from the main town and deep into the plains near the Forest. As she walked on, she smelled something good. A scent that caught her attentions as swiftly as she caught it. Blood. Looking around, she came to realize there were dead bandits near the road. Quickly, she ran to them, not to see if they were safe, but to see what they had. Checking their small sacks of gold and their pockets, she retrieved small amounts of gold on them.
"Mine, mine. And this one too is mine" Veronika smiled, as she yanked a gold necklace from one of the dead men. It could be either his or someone he robbed, it didn't matter, it was in her possesion now. As few more meters away and she saw something else. Alive. Stumbling near the road. Veronika titled her head and cautiously made her way to him with careful, measured steps. She only had a club and her unnatural strength, but that was it. Looking at him crawl, she smelled poison as well. She chuckled and approached him, knowing all too well he was injured.
"Eating dirt has never been better, has it? Especially when you crawl with an arrow stuck on you" Joked the Imperial girl, whos clothes seemed to be dirty and ragged. No one expected she was wealthy.
Veronika scratched her head. "Where are you heading?" She asked, obviously ignoring his present state of pain and suffering.

Falcan’s head was spinning, maybe he should had pulled the arrow out sooner then he did? He cursed inwardly at himself and took a deep breath trying to keep breathing and attempted to push himself to his feet again, if he could just make it to Skingrad the nearest city, right? Then he thought maybe he’d find help there. Funny though this pain was still nothing compared to when he was lovingly given that scar on his face that almost ruined, or at least halved his sight and hearing on his left side.
He then heard a voice, at least his hearing want any worse he looked towards the female who spoke, he thought that she was imperial, but couldn’t really be to sure with his head pounding like it did. He growled lowly, was she a bandit? Uhg if so this place was really overrun with them. He winced and spat lightly. “tastes better when mixed with blood.” he winced and watched her the best he could, if he had to he told himself he could fight, but who knew if he’d be able to move or not. Then she asked where he was going? Oh boy… no he didn’t expect help from her but the least she could do was just keep walking, was she a sadist then?
Suddenly he felt his mind drawn to the thoughts of Alessandra, what would she think if he died so easily here? She was a vampire, it was a strange relationship they had, but he felt she maybe one of his truest friends. He grabbed his blade in its scabbard still and forcefully planted its end on the ground and used it to push himself up, his eyes narrowed and focused. “Skingrad” he stated coldly and pulled himself up on one knee other foot ready as well he stopped to take a small brake and breathe. It hurt he wasn’t sure he could move the arm the wounded shoulder was attached to. He gritted his teeth and tried, his fingers worked but then he let out a groan of pain and held his shoulder with his other hand.
He looked at her. “well you don’t look that friendly, but what do you want?” he asked it was a simple question because right now he either needed to keep moving or if she planned on being a problem he would try and fend her off or at least again that’s what he kept telling himself. “seems I need something to get rid of this poison” he managed a sharp chuckle though his teeth as he leaned on his swords and pushed himself up on his feet wobbling some he then regained his balance.

Veronika chuckled loudly at his remark about blood and dirt. Carefully, she studied him as he tried his best to get up, using his weapon to push him.
"I'm heading to Skingrad as well. Perhaps we can go together. A peculiar town, too strange for a lonely wandered to go about alone". She pondered about what she could get. After all, she needed alot of gold to refurnish her home and buy new artifacts and such. Perhaps a larger gate and entrance, and even construct a large basement. The house had to e big and full of space.
"Hmmm. What do I want?" Veronika asked herself and the man. "I want what they wanted. Before you killed them. Gold. Give me some gold and I can remove the poison for you" Veronika smiled.
"Everything is for a price. You'd be an idiot of you think most good deeds were for free. Better think fast, or you will be food for the wolves" Added the Imperial woman. Staring with curiosity at the man. Wondering much about, even how he tasted. Such thoughts were of a madman, but anyone infected with Lycanthropy were purely insane. It was normal to her.

Gold? That’s all she wanted? Of course. The blond sighed and shook his head lightly. “I Digress. Perhaps it is the nerves of a foolish man but I do what I can for others without a price.” he stated bluntly, and it was true, it was foolish but he didn’t, and that wouldn’t change, not that it involved her anyways. “so what would lead me to believe you would help and not just take my gold?” he asked bluntly, honestly a good question. He smirked. Pretend to heal me and add your own poison, I might be foolish but I’m not that foolish, however if you are walking with me and I fall go ahead and help if you like, I would pay you, but only then if I am in need of your help I will have nothing to loose will I?” he asked made since to him.
He struggled on with his steps but actually found this woman to be urging him on more then anything he kept his mind on something other then the poisons and possible death. “wolves?” he smirked then shrugged. “maybe’ he muttered and left it at that. He glanced up as the sun looked like soon it would be going to sleep, and night would fall, this was true he needed to get somewhere before night fell, or he maybe in more danger, though who is to say this woman wasn’t dangerous either? Falcan didn’t just trust strangers, he would be a fool to except help, however giving it was different. No?

Veronika placed her finger on her lip and began to think a proper response to his question. “So what would lead me to believe you would help and not just take my gold?” he asked bluntly.
Veronika stared at him with her golden eyes and just smiled again, not a wicked or depreaved, but just a semi-friendly smile with a hint of savaregy.
"Because I am not a total barbaric person to do such a thing. I'll help ya and you can trust me. You will have to anyways, hehe. I'm not the one eating dirt like a cow." Veronika flashed a predatory grin "See, the either are food for whatever eats cows, including me and Orcs or...you can go off and mate with a Minatour and spawn a half breed. Ive seen many around here in recent years, you happen to see any? Why are going to Skingrad by the way? There is alot of strange people there, kinda like me. But you don't look like a strange person at all. Perhaps in the event I haven't got all your gold, you can squander some away with all the wine and dark-haired woman you can stand. Even if your dead you get some fun...I mean, the other person gets some fun, you wont even feel it...cause you know...your dead?" Veronika continued babbling off, not doing any effort to stop soon.
"I am known as a Raving Lunatic, Insane Wanderer, Gibbering Lunatic, Wandering Lunatic, Wandering Idiot and many other nasty things. But I'm Veronika. I like to travel off to new and beautiful places, meet new and thrilling people...And then kill them"
Veronika had a smug look on her face, it looked somewhat stupid and yet a curious look.
"But today is your lucky day, if you stick with me all the way to Skingrad. You will be safe. The great forest is haunted you know. Come, lets go!" Veronika began to walk off, not too far from the man whom she didn't know yet.
"Who might you be?" Asked Veronika, looking over her shoulder to the struggling fellow.

Was it just the Poison or was this woman giving him a headache? He sighed inwardly at her words about her not being barbaric then something about half-breeds? He was a half-breed but in all of Nirn he had no idea what she was talking about and tried to just shrug it off. Then asked why he was going to Skingrad? He sighed lightly. “was just the closest, like you said I don’t want to be eaten by…” what was it she said again? “Cows…” he chuckled lightly and shook his head so he didn’t look weird? Well maybe that was good he sighed, but then paused dead in his tracks as she poke about spending time with a dark-haired woman, he sent a deadly glare towards her. “what do you know about that?” he hissed almost looked like he was ready to draw his blade forget any poisons.
She then seemed to ramble on again about being called insane, not that he could disagree with her by any means but finely gave him a real name, ‘Veronika’ huh he kind of liked ‘Raving Lunatic’ but was she a stalker or not? He relaxed himself some and gave a heavy sigh. “I’m not really a thrilling person though. I’m Falcan Nightroad” he figured whatever he could share his name ,right?
He sighed seeing her walk some ahead. And sighed. “alright, help me like you say.” he stated. “without this poison I could take care of myself” he stated then paused. “I have some gold, and some food in my pack, would you be happy with that?” he asked, no way in Oblivion he actually trusted her, but she had a point the didn’t have to many options. He sucked in a deep breath and looked up at the sky as it got darker, then passed a glance toward her again. “Haunted?” he sounded a unbelievable to that he knew ghosts existed but in a forest really? He wasn’t afraid, not much he did fear, however he was curious.

"All I know is that there is nothing too normal about Skingrad. You can find the best wines in Cyrodiil and even some of the beautiful women or lads you can encounter. But I have been there before and it's a nice place to be, if you like Necropheliac people and veins sucking bugaboos such as vampires." Veronika had a hint of agression in her voice. There was something about vampires she didn't like at all. Especially the ones from Cyrodiil, the ones that some people dont even know exist among them. Werewolves are much more intruging in her personal opinion and much stronger, and because she was one. Or was she? Veronika grabbed her head, feeling a slight headache, only remembering a few things of her life thhat she had written down in her journal, but the rest she forgot. Soon, hopefully, she would recover such memories.
The man finally introduced himself as Falcan Nightroad. Veronika kept on walking and thought about his name for a split second. Her thoughts drifted around whay she said about meeting new people and then killing them after.
"A nice name. Like the Predatory Bird of Prey, a Falcon" Said Veronika, who seemed to lose herself into her own talks about birds now. Then he mentioned food and she was a bit more excited.
"I love food. I love lots of food, give me that and the gold, then we have a deal. I can suck out the poison from your body, I do not think it will do much effect on me, so it is worth to try"
Veronika took a more deep tone and a worried look on her face. "Yes. Haunted. I bade you leave, the land is haunted and if you chose to stay around you would be in the greatest danger. See, many people died, recent killings increased the past month. Dead people, devoured and eaten. The guards and villagers think it is the Udyrfrykte, or some deranged Daedric Worshiper making sacrifices" Sighed the Imperial woman as she stopped, looking at him.
"What do you have to eat. We must eat if we are to get to Skingrad in one piece?" Asked Veronika. "And do you want me to remove that poison or not?"

“Oh” was all he could mutter when she spoke of people in Skingrad, so she didn’t like vampires then? He wondered and lightly shook his head, funny he couldn’t say he minded them. He finely sighed and nodded. “fine whatever” he nodded she could suck the poison out? Was she really that insane? It would work but there was the chance she could get poisoned right? He sighed. Even if she was insane she still would have to be careful, then the idea of someone putting their mouth on him made his face quickly turn red, he however managed to swat thoughts away and scoffed.
“I have dried meat, some bread, maybe a apple or two” he stated “enough for two days so yes there is enough for two people” he stated but he did offer it to her, incase she wanted to eat it all, it was hard to tell with this strange woman. Yes his name sounded like a bird in thought inwardly then glanced around the poison doing its work again he felt more tired.
“right…..fight, do what must.” he nodded walking over to lean on a larger bolder and pant, he disliked showing weakness but it wasn’t like this was just shrug able anymore. He sighed “just be careful if you really want to” he stated and pulled out his pack with the food then a smaller sack out of it with gold coins it wasn’t a vast amount but a handful or so. He gasped painfully and slid down the bolder and sat on the grass sweating, it was hitting him so fast now he couldn’t move again. “uhg……da** bandits” he cursed.

Veronika saw that the man was reluctant to share much information. She did not blame him at all, she wouldn't share too much information either, for Hircine's sake, shes walking around in a poor individual's outfit while she has wealth and gold. After all, she chose to leave the previous life.
"Thats it? A bred and two little apples and dried meat? I rather chew on a Rabbit's ear for twenty minutes than taste dried meat. But fine. Food is food, I guess" Said Veronika, scratching her head as he began to fall and shake a little, the side effect of the poison. "The poison is growing, spreading through your blood stream, affecting you as you move. Your mind is being affected as well. This is an old technique that no longer is recommended, magic is used more nowadays. I might cause further tissue damage to the site of the bite if I do this, but there is a greater chance it will work. Just remain as calm as possible, the more you panic the more blood will spread through the body, taking the poison with it, damaging other body parts as it passes along. This might sting just a bit"
Veronika went and picked up the sack of gold, her fingers running around the bag and squeezing it around to feel how much. The woman leaned down to the affected area; his shoulder primarily, and then bit down hard, her teeth sinking in, she began to suck in the poison with force, spitting a mouhtful of poison and blood and then going back at it until the blood was simply red. After a few minutes of repeated progress, she was done. Veronika smelled the blood in her mouth and it's scent had no poison around it, it was clean. But he might still suffer the side effects of it after. Ripping a piece of cloth, Veronika placed a piece of cloth over his shoulder and wrapped it around his arm, making a knot to keep the blood from flowing. Mouth bleeding and stained red, Veronika licked her lips and then spat again.
"There, all better. Now I suggest we get to Skingrad at once! Perhaps, you can buy something, a cure disease potion maybe? There was one for both disease and poison, two in one bottle" Chuckled Veronika, not able to tell Falcan she just gave him Sanies Lupinus by biting him. Sure, the poison was replaced but it was replaced by something far more insidious.
"Because you have the poison removed, you body will try to recover itself. Your will feel a bit weaker than before, but we must get to Skingrad. There, they can take care of you" Veronika said nervously, suddenly shutting up on her excessive talking. That was the downside, in three days time he will become a lycanthrope, a Werewolf, but there was only a room for one Werewolf in the area, two if it were someone she cared about. There just had to be an advantage to this....Veronika pondered as she stood there. The Werewolf slayers in the area could see that he was the Beast, and then kill him for it and leave her alone for the time being. Or maybe just cure the Sanies Lupinus quickly.

He sighed faintly at her reacting to his food, or maybe lack of? It was enough food for him, and easy to carry. “well then next time I know I might run into you I’ll bring you a rabbit’s ear” he stated looking at her partly amused. He did a lot of traveling and dried meat was just easier for him.
Once on the ground he looked at her as she spoke about the poison again, this sucked.. He sucked in a deep breath. She was right though she knew a lot for, uhm, a raving lunatic? He chuckled lightly and then sighed. “I understand” he stated then smirked. “sadly I am not to great with magic either” he shook his head. Sucking in a deep breath he nodded. “alright just get it over with.” he stated he’d taken greater pain before right? The scar on his face was just one reminder. Other then that he couldn’t afford to loose any more function of his left side, his seeing and hearing was already off on his left.
He clinched his fists gasping faintly as she bit him, not an experience he was found or it hurt, almost inhumanly, but he did his best to ignore it, though heat rushed to his face thinking of someone else whom had bitten him before. Alessandra…… however he wouldn’t let her see him blush and slightly looked away, then came to mind about a time when he was younger though not by much, while training with the Blades he had been bitten by a snake and someone sucked the poison out.
Finely as soon as it began it was over, he thought about telling her to never speak of this but then just sighed and took a deep breath. He already felt a little less light headed, or maybe it was just him. He looked at her and winced lightly standing up, and looked at her kind of funny, she seemed really anxious to get to Skingrad now, even more so, she was right about the curing potions, that he’d take regardless what she said, of course he pondered how he’d do that if she had all his gold, but he’d figure that out when he got there. His body feeling more tired then before? This also made since to him, it was true, he thought then nodded. “alright lets get going then” he stated rubbing the wound lightly then pulling his stuff back over his other shoulder and scoffed some. He looked at her as she had a strange look to her eyes he sighed deeply.
“don’t go plotting anything” he stated did he know!? No way. He then spoke again. “running off again. We have to go to Skingrad, I paid you already” he smirked then nodded lightly able to walk again felt better without having to stop every few steps to ‘rest’ he nodded and looked back ahead his vision was back as well and could see the road, all they had to do was fallow it now, right? He nodded. “thank you, Veronika.” he looked toward her again.

"No need. I can find rabbits as easily as any Fox can find a Hare." Veronika boasted loudly.
"I will not plot anything, I'm not much of the master mind controlling type. You will find that I am just a simple girl trying to live free in the world. ou have no reason to fear me" Veronika explained to him carefully, with some lies clouding the truth, still having little memory of past things. All she knew that she was doomed from the start, her heredetary Curse was aslumber in her body and when she was bitten by a Werewolf, she become one instantly. The bite of a werebeast can pass the infection on to a new victim. However, if they can pass the infection to a latent lycanthrope, the curse will be lifted from the person due to the intensity of its blossoming in the victim. And the victim will instantly turn into a Werewolf due to her already having the Curse at birth. This was such case with Veronika, who was reluctant to share of her past. Only few details she had written, but a recent fight got her amnesia.
Veronika smiled to Falcan, staring at him straight in the eye. "Sure thing." Replied Veronika to his thanks. The sun was setting down and night was coming quickly. She had hoped that they would get to Skingrad before nightfall. But if they walked quickly, or ran, they might. To her it did not matter, she could see in the dark as easily as in the day, she didn't know about him though and he had to be taken to safety...For leverage.
"So, what do you do for a living? Birdman?" Adressed Veronika to Falcan, using a petty insult for fun.

She called herself a smile girl he smirked lightly and shook his head with a chuckle, finely when she spoke again asking what he did, while they headed towards Skingrad he gave a light sigh. “kind of unemployed” he shook his head. “I sometimes just pick up jobs for people, that how I make my money, other then that I just travel around. I suppose I’m a very uninteresting person, but I like to live the simple life as well.” he nodded politely he felt tired but defiantly better, or at least he thought so, weird.
He knew maybe he shouldn’t ask but she did and she called him ‘bird man’ so he had a right to. He smirked and watched her. “what do you do then? Suck poison out of random strangers for gold and scraps?” he chuckled faintly. It was still hard to say if she was a friend or not, but at least he didn’t feel she was about to stab him in the back at any moment, though as Falcan treated all people well he still had a guard about him, that didn’t let people to close, he was good at dealing with people, even smiling when he didn’t really feel like it, however there was still something there that closed him off from others..
His gaze shifted back unto the road ahead of them seeing a sign as they pass it. “it should be to much further” he stated then smirked. “because I’m sure you are dieing to get rid of me already” he stated. He was feeling tired again but tied to brush it off, maybe if they kept talking would be easier to ignore, only what to talk about with this odd woman.

"Ah, you're a free lancer. So, I take it that you have no home. Just a drifter, going town to town, collecting jobs and then the gold and then go to the next. That is very....Uninteresting. After Falcan asked her what she did for a living, she scoffed rudely and stared at him.
"No. I am just a regular woman living in the world. I use to be an adventurer, you could say, still am as a matter of fact. I am also a Hunter. Gold? You can find it just about anywhere. I dont need to beg for gold, you gave it to me because you knew if you didn't, you would die" Veronika told Falcan what she could, beyond that was too risky for herself and those around her. As the road seemed long, Veronika sighed, all she wanted now was to rest somewhere and drink some wine and eat raw meat. It was the most 'human' thing she could do.
"You seem like a likable fellow. Ordinary. Civilized and responsible" Veronika barked, putting a strong emphasis on the responsible part. For all she knew, she hated responsible fellows. They opened their mouth when they were not suppose to and then before she knew it, hunters were at her doorsteps.
"If I can find a Horse," Veronika searched around the road, only hearing crickets and a few animals nearby. "We can probably get there faster. Don't you think, Falcan?" Asked Veronika.

He chuckled at her and nodded he got what she was saying and it was understandable he smirked ad shook his head with a chuckle. He watched her when she said he was likeable, it was funny he’d grown a lot after being bit by one vampire, if one wanted to look at it in that way. It was funny really, he still wasn’t a people-person but was better at talking with people and dealing with them, so maybe he could admit to being a little likeable?
“Responsible?” he smirked he tried to be but………….still all those years ago, it was all his fault….three great men…Three Blade men lost their lives. He brought a hand up to rest on the left side of his face where his scar stretch over. And he was reminded of that every day. Why was he alive anyway!? He sucked in sharply then quickly tried to shake the feeling. He paused looking towards her as she spoke about finding a horse? Where at? He blinked a few times. “well of course but where would we find here jut out on the road? Unless a patrolman comes by but even then. I doubt they would lend us their horse” he pointed out and razed a brow.
Yes he was getting tired but talking and walking had kept him awake, also she said ‘if I’ go find them a horse, that mean she’d leave him here alone? He could fight and better now not overly poisoned but still, what if he passed out or fell asleep here in the middle of the road? He shook his head lightly and watched her. “do you know where to find one?”
