Aegnor let out a sigh when he saw the state of Kvatch, and his eyes went wide at the ferocity that Falcan showed in this moment at the straggling deadra. he almost felt bad...almost.
he decided to help and get any stragglers. Tulgor helped by running over a few of the runt's running around. no one was paying attention to a few of the dremora nearing the open chapel top. Aegnor approached the door with Tulgor at his side. the guards from outside caught up to them and dealt with the others.
he spoke after Falcan "its me Mantius and some fellows who've helped close the gate. " at that the door opened to reveal a redguard woman and a male archer. "sir! you've managed to break the siege" she ushered everyone in but stopped at tulgor. "uh...whats that?!"
"its Tulgor, he's my clannfear he is rather gentle." to prove that statement he looked at her gave her 'puppy' eyes and cooed softly. she sighed and looked away, allowing everyone in.
"Aegnor tuned to the redguard woman, "have you seen a priest named Martin?" he asked.
"yeah he is in the back..." Aegnor smiled "Falcan we finally found him Aegnor started going towards the back. when he saw a woman look up at the hole in the croft, and scream "deadra!!"

Falcan took a few deep breaths. “yeah that pet is….ehh….’good’” he razed a brow at the statement all in itself seemed wrong in a unknown way. He sighed and over looked all the people in the area and sighed lightly, half of them looked in panic and then others were trying to calm each other down. His eyes scanned towards the back when they mentioned Martin and took a deep breath. Strange he still felt like a cold frost hit him in the chest. Only thing that seemed to brake that was Martin looked so….plain, like any other regular person living a free hopefully happy life. It was weird this mix of emotions, maybe he was just loathing in self pity? He stiffened and looked down, trying to relax.
I mean what would he say? IF he could muster to talk to him like a normal person would, even though he couldn’t, even then what would one say? Just walk over say ‘Yo you’re the new Emperor c’mon with us so we can crown ya, you get to rule a country! Congrats!’….he chuckled at the thought, his eyes twitched lightly. “think I’m afraid…..” he muttered under his breath. Then nodded he had to do this though didn’t he? Well he knew his elf friend would be there, and its not like martin would bite time to be a man, even if he left after taking Martin to the Priory, what’s the worst could happen? So many darned thoughts running though his brain, he found himself walking almost without any consent to and smirked lightly too, least walls didn’t appear out of thin air or jump out at you, or he’d be in trouble by now. [lol]
Falcan was about to speak to the Imperial whom was only a few feet away when someone screamed Deadra! Pure reflex and maybe instinct he waited no time twisting on his heal and sliding in front of Martin and the other person near by and giving them a small shove, that’s one way to treat your future emperor? No less a grate way to make a fist impression! Least there were no sharp objects around! “Stay down and move!” he shouted in a stern voice and whipped out a blade as the deadra jumped down upon them! Almost as if trying to land onto them Falcan was unsure he could take the lunge of weight. Falcan took a deep breath and closed his eyes then spun his blade around and pointed it upward at a angle and shouted as he jumped towards the beast if he could kill it in one hit, then there would be no worries about anyone getting hurt here right!? ….only thanks to that bold act it could even cost him his life, it was funny he had no second thoughts.
Blood seemed to fly about as they met mid air then Falcan let out a ghastly scream of pain as he fell back into the floor boards it happened so fast but seemed like forever to him, yet not at the same, he was now on the floor this beast on top him, he’d rammed his blade though its chest and back, then at that last moment had pulled his other blade and stuck it though the same place forcing the first blade to fly though the air hoping to the nine didn’t hit anyone where ever it landed. But in the return got a blade though his middle between his chest and gut, honestly had no idea where, but he knew blood as it surfaced and rundown his sides, feeling cold and warm at the same, and blood ran down his chin. His brows arched he cursed mentally and tried to move the beast of him but felt himself growing weaker by the passing moment, and gasped for breath.

"Tulgor go!" he shouted as the Clannfear charged the almost dead Dremora on top of Falcan, knocking it off and crushing its chest. killing the dremora and hissing at anymore approaching dremora while protecting Falcan and the others. his tail swishing menacingly.
Aegnor jumped up at another falling dremora slamming his fist into its leg with a weakness spell. then swinging his leg around to its back with a strong shock spell sending him and the dremora to the ground Aegnor landing on top of the now dead dremora's back. he turned to the other three that landed the guards were taking care of two while a third rushed at Martin, a little girl, Falcan and Tulgor.
he rushed the Dremora with another shock spell causing it to stumble. then place kicks and punches the dremora fighting back the same way. a few blows landing a piece thought the only difference with each is Aegnor added shock magic to his blows while the dremora had gauntlets with claw like fingers. he getting pissed not being able to land a hard enough blow. then not one of his most brilliant ideas ever, head butted the dremora in an attempt to break its nose. it worked but he split his head open in the process. he know had blood falling in his face, as the dremora stumbled back and Aegnor finished him off with a touch shock spell which he called electrocution.
He turned to Falcan and the others to see martin tending to his companion.
~~~~
Martin looked over the man who saved him and the little girl he was tending too. asking if you were hurt would be a little stupid. it strangely enough didn't bother him that a Clannfear was protecting him it seemed plenty capable.
"alright can you hear me i am going to clean this one wound out i think the one dremora's blade had poison in it." he spoke softly yet firmly enough for the man who risked his life could hear him. he looked up to see a high elf approach him with a bloody face...
~~~
Aegnor knelt down across from Martin. "here i can cast a cure poison spell..." he placed his hands on the wound. and a softly white like green hummed over the cut. he retreated his hands back and whipped some blood from his face it was running into his eyes. Tulgor nuzzled Aegnor after the guards got ride of the other two deadra. "what a good boy you protected Martin, the little girl, and Falcan didn't you." he scratched behind its head plate causing the creature to thump its leg.

Unaware of most around him now, Falcan laid there fighting to just stay conches. Gasping for breath his eyes remained about half open, hearing yells and thudding sounds his vision was betraying him for the time being.. It seemed to be hours yet soon as it began it ended…he just hoped everyone was alright..
He looked towards Martin though mostly saw blurs of brown black and peach. He winced. “I-’ he tried to speak but coughed and gasped for breath as he listened the best he could to others talking around him or to him, and painfully looked towards his companion. He almost felt like he’d failed and gained something at the same time….hah another mixed feeling hard to decide one from the other. He watches the glow come from his friends hands as they spoke of poison, and healing it away. Wanted to reply, yet thought even if he did his words would be to slurred to understand. And ‘thank you’ wasn’t quite enough.
Falcan sucked in another dry sharp breath. “ar--tey…gone?” he groaned, rolling his head from side to side a little trying to stay awake. “is an-one…urt?” he coughed then looked to Martin then looked away, couldn’t look him in the eyes, yeah now what….so much for asking him or forcing him to go to Weyon, wouldn’t be so easy now…..and he’d live though this what use wound he be on the road?
He growled at himself mentally and tried to move. “ahg…” he gritted his teeth and cringed. “I-I’m….sorry….I-” he trailed off. “lea-t…uor…safe…” he self himself slipping a little more, even if it was death or not, he felt so tired.

Aegnor sighed and leaned back and watched martin work on healing Falcan. He himself knew he should do something about his forehead but honestly at the moment it was safe and he was going to rest darn it. he grabbed a cloth that was wrapped around a loaf of bread. and whipped his face of blood. though it didn't really help because blood smears. the little girl who Tulgor helped save brought him some water to clean his face with. He cleaned it up and pressed the cloth to his forehead to help stop the bleeding.
He watched Martin, this was the future Emperor? he was plain, he was a priest and a decent healer, 'the hands of kings are suppose to heal' fluttered across his mind.
"so its Martin right?"

Falcan cursed in a few slurs under his breath then groaned. “thanks.” he sighed. “No…it is I who should be thanking you my friend.” Martin lightly bowed his head. “now get some rest before we have to move.” he stated with a reassuring voice. And Falcan slowly closed his eyes, they had felt so heavy, hah wouldn’t had been able to keep them open much longer anyways.
Martin wile busy only glanced towards the elf once or twice, at least he seemed to be in stable condition. As he finished wrapping and tying off bandages, and nodded at his work checking it once more. He sighed lightly and looked back toward the elf once more. “Yes…I am.” he replied. ‘a Priest of Akatosh…or…well. What is it you need?” he asked politely.

"well don't take this the wrong way...one i need you two we need to go to wenyon priory... jaufree sent us, three we wait till Falcan is ready to go and four i can heal myself when ever i want i'm tierd at the moment." Aegnor said with a cheesey grin.
he leaned against Tulgor who had laid down behind him and was now snoozing. he tunred his head to a noise of a armored foot coming there way. it was Salvian Mantius.

“huh? Wait backup.” Martin said calmly. “why do you need me? I mean to Weyon Priory? Jaufree....he sent you, hes from the--” He paused and frowned lightly eyes also looking serious. “But why do you need me? what is going on?” he asked then shook his head. “if you need a priest for something. I’m sorry you may have to find someone else, My….beliefs in the nine, at the moment seems to be weary…I’m sorry.” he looked away after finished fixing up Falcan he stood. Falcan groaned opening his eyes halfway. “he….don’t ….know.” he smirked lightly. Then slowly sat up. “careful” Martin, told him, sadly he seemed to ignore him and stayed sitting up groaning lightly he took a dew sharp breaths. “where…are my clothes, my shirt…and things?” he asked with a dry raspy voice. “we cant stay here to long.” he looked down.

"Falcan my friend your not going to move for a bit you took a rather interesting blow there." Aegnor said. "and i figured he wouldn't know...." he said with a face that said why would you tell a kid he was the bastard son of the recently deceased emperor?
Salvian Mantius came over with three six people. three where imperial legionnaires and the other three was one woman in a strange blue outfit, a Nordish looking man in fur armor, and what was obviously an imperial in Ebony armor. What was strange, the imperial had what appeared to be a small white dog in a set of animal Mithril armor.
"you two look rather...uh colorful." mantius said with a smile. "we thank you saviors of Kvatch, you closed the gate and in doing so saved the city making all that much easier for us to get to the keep, now my men and these six are going to head to the keep and save the count. please rest until you are fit to travel, if you need to move tot he refugee camp please we are gathering the rest of the survivors and sending them with a escort down to the camp." he nodded in the direction of the redguard woman who was gathering everyone else together.
" i thank you for your kindness Captain" Aegnor said standing up he shook Mantius' hand. " good luck mantius I'll help escort the refugees as long as they can wait for us to get Falcan ready." he stated, as he grabbed some of Falcan things and picked them up. he wrapped his cloak around his shoulder's.
" i can heal you when we get down to the camp. if you'd like." Aegnor said while he placed his hand on his forehead and a soft glow appeared, only a small red area was left behind.

Falcan grunted, eyes wincing he tried to keep them open, regardless what he said he couldn’t hide it to well… “heh….Interesting….is…a interesting choice of words.” he smirked. “But I’ve had worse, heh when I was still in training with the b---” he paused then his eyes widened lightly, he almost brought up something needed to mean nothing to these people, he suddenly covered it up with a few gasps and coughs. “sorry…” he frowned lightly and whipped his mouth. He tried to think of something else to say but not to quick he didn’t want to seem like he was hiding something not that he really was ‘hiding’ anything. He looked upward at him. “thanks, I might have to take you up on that offer.” he smirked then held his wound a moment. Then cursed something under his breath before looking towards the guards and the people gathering what ‘things’ they had.
Martin looked toward Flacan and Aegnor and swallowed dryly before speaking up once more. “Please….explain what you need from me at the camp?” he asked then shook his head. “and I will go with you, for I owe you nothing short of my life.” he stated calmly, then gave a small bow and walked over to help some of the others.
Falcan chuckled and looked back up at Aegnor once he was done walking to the other people in the room, who were strangers to Falcan he just nodded a ‘hello, thanks, and good luck’ he reached up and pulled the elf down to his level with a small smirk and put his other hand on his head and ruffled up his hair. “he has no idea….douse he?” he smirked under his breath then let out a loud laugh/chuckle then quickly stopped and cringed and held himself. “ouch…..” he groaned. “well…this makes things even more interesting.”

Aegnor chuckled at Falcan being short, but stopped and turned sad. "no he doesn't who would tell a child they were a bastard child of a king. one where he was sent away." Aegnor just shook his head "no he probably thinks he's just some poor farmer's son." he said as they headed down to the refugee camp along with everyone else. Tulgor's tail swishing behind as it followed.
Aegnor chuckled at Tulgor as it scampered around smelling things and inspecting things. It was outside the planes of oblivion everything was new, and exciting. Tulgor trotted back to Aegnor and Falcan hopping around as it chased after a frog making cooing noises as it chased it.
Aegnor laughed at the Clannfear's antics, it was acting like a little puppy.
"well traveling around with Tulgor will definitely be interesting." he said with a smile on his face as Tulgor came back hoping around the two of them. as they neared the bottom he called Tulgor too him to keep it close. he then realized something. "what do i feed it?"

“eh heh.” Falcan chuckled as they walked. “no idea, meat, I guess.” he stated leaning halfway one a long stick he found. “you know, if he becomes a leader, being razed as a farm boy, wouldn’t really be a bad thing.” he nodded. “to be able to lead the people you have to be one of them, to protect people you have to have a taste of how there lives are.” he smirked. “wasn’t really a farm-kid, completely but I had to work as a kid, surrounded by people thriving and poor. Helped me grow up with discipline, and morals.” he smirked and gave a small grin.

Aegnor raised his eyebrow at Falcan, sounded like a interesting past. he then scratched his head there were days it was hard remembering what he was like when he was a child. he wasn't old per say there were older elves in existence he was relatively young by Elvin standards.
"ah i had the stereotypical 'spoiled' childhood. elf children are rare so me and my two siblings were a blessing to my parents." Aegnor shrugged. "i learnt things a different way. a leader must know certain things and Martin is on the right path, leaders should know there people for when they have problems those with privileged don't know the meaning of suffering or the problems those less fortunate have or deal with." Aegnor said as they neared the bottom.
Martin was already there helping the wounded and consoling others. Aegnor paused "I'll try and explain things...please do rescue me if i fail exceedingly." Aegnor walked over to Martin and did his best to explain with what information Jaufree deemed worthy to tell them. he told Martin he was the Emperor's last child, that he was important.
Aegnor he hoped he explained it alright to Martin he had a feeling he missed something important...

Falcan chuckled watching him and blinked lightly. He didn’t know Elvin children were rare, that was odd to think about being half one himself, he’d be sure and ask Aegnor more about it later. …. For now he just replied with a nod watching him go over to Martin once they reached the camp, Falcan was also able to sit and relax, also he’d get his horse back.
However Martin had a more interesting few minutes of his life. “I’m what?!” he gasped lightly looking aside he wasn’t really re-asking Aegnor to repeat himself, but more like questioning if he heard the elf right, and was sure he did it was a shock…he remained calm, his face only changing a little to show confusion or surprise, most the time a mix of both. Martin closed his eyes trying to make since of anything, he had no reason NOT to believe him, but really! What would anyone else do if they were walked upon and told they were ruler of anything!?
He took a deep breath staying composed as always but could help the pounding in his chest. “It’s hard…to reply to that, the nine….I’m….if I am whom you said.” he paused. “regardless how your story might sound, I have no reason not to believe you more so since you were sent by Jaufree.” he stated. “Hum, I will come with you….maybe fate has more in store for me….then I imagined, so…we’ll see.” he stated. “please as soon as you and your companion are ready, I can be too….I…if I’m the reason the oblivion gate opened and the deadra came….I….don’t want to be a danger to these people anymore.” he stated under his breath and gave a small nod.

Aegnor smiled and nodded to Martin. "I can understand that this all seems...to be getting weirder and weirder you survived Kvatch and now you have some strange Altmer telling you thing's you couldn't imagine in your wildest daydreams" Aegnor motioned for martin to follow him. " i have a horse you can use we brought and extra for you." Aegnor said as he walked over to Falcan.
"well my friend are you ready to be healed?" Aegnor asked as he places both his hands on Falcan shoulder's a soft warm glow engulfed his hands and Little by little all of Falcan injuries faded to red marks on his skin.
"you know the routine Falcan rest fluids and any of that ol' junk that will replenish the blood supply you obviously lost. " Falcan chuckled "especially when we get to a place you can rest safely for a few days. " Aegnor turned to Martin as Aegnor petting Tulgor.
"well my friends shall we get back to jauffre?"
