It was late in the day. Altair had tried to stay out of the public eye since his awakening. And the sun lowered in the sky as the day started to look to its end, in a few hours. Of course this also meant it was still bright enough out, he rather say here in the shadows of the trees. However hundreds of years without meals made him weaker then he’d thought, the second week of feeding off of animals and unlucky travelers and bandits, had given him back enough strength for now but still not at his full, nor wished to be state of power.
Leaning under a tree with a dark cloak around him, that shrouded his whole body, a loose hood pulled up over his head, that only let a few locks of dark hair fall around his face hiding it even more so. The shadows of trees helped but he suddenly found himself growing weaker again. It felt pathetic. He had the perfect catch a while ago and should have partaken of it, but something stopped him, for some reason he let the woman go. And now he was paying for that. He wished to be back at full power, and back to where he was able to at least walk though town.
He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of nature. A few birds chirped, and bugged buzzed past. But also he heard the sound of foot steps a bit further down the road. His red eyes gleamed with some hope as he slipped further back into the shadows. He looked out seeing someone approaching, walking down the road, they seemed to be alone. Good. He most likely wouldn’t kill them, but truth be known he felt like he was dieing out here. And he needed this before he did give into his blood thirst. As the stranger walked past him, he slipped out of the trees without a sound, approaching the person from behind. He quickly pulled one arm around them to grab their wrist, and loc it around their other side, holding them tightly to him, his other hand was even quicker to have his long pointed nails to the stranger’s throat. Hot breath on their neck.
“don’t do anything brash….” he warned in a cool toneless voice. He’d already made sure no one else was around, other then the animals, this person would not soon forget this encounter. He slowly and carefully pulled the stranger back into the shadows of the trees. Glancing back over the road again he looked back upon his……..catch.
<I made this post Open, so people can Roleplay the ‘catch’, if you don’t mind my godmoding, OR you may RP someone walking up to stumble upon them. Either is fine.>

Thirst

Yggdrasil was wondering back to his home on the city isle, from getting some supplies he could only get in Chorrol. it was late and he had left Varlais back in the ruins he called home to protect it. though he was tierd and weary from the few days travels, the inns in chorrol weren't overly pleasant. that or he got used to sleeping in the bed of pillows, furs and blankets at his home.
Yggdrasil had stopped to watch the sunset, while he stood at the crest of a hill. he likes sunsets, they weren't ends like most people thought they were beginnings. beginnings of a different color.
Yggdrasil was about to continue when he was grabbed from behind, his arm twisted up and sharp nails at his throat. the hot breath on the back of his he recognized the voice, he thought.
he paused and waited for his chance to get away or attack either way, he would play the vampires game for now.
(it is a craptastic post)

Thirst

[[It is alright, I’m tired as well so my post is most likely to be short and un detailed. Also sorry if that is to much godmoding.]]
Altair breathed deeply this wasn’t the way he wanted this to go, he’d tried not to kill to many people if he didn’t have too. He didn’t want to get people on his trail after just being freed not to long ago. In the safety of the trees and their shadows the Vampire still held onto his pray with a strong grip of course not enough to suffocate it, but not let it get away, of course he wasn’t sure he could hold it any tighter anyways. He didn’t remove his hand on the Halfling’s wrist nor claws on his throat. He released only the claws around his neck to ruffle with the man’s shirt callor. He had been able to realize it was elf, or at least part and male. But right now it meant little to him.
His nails remained just in front of the male’s neck as the flesh of his shoulder and neck was revealed. He drew in a few deep hot breath’s pulling the male closer to him from behind still. He ran his lips over the bare flesh as the send of blood underneath yanked at the vampire’s core. He brought his lips closer for just a small bite, not even enough to brake flesh. His eyes filched before closing softly.
“I am sorry………” he muttered and thought to tell the male he wouldn’t kill him, but how many people did that actually make feel better? His fangs extended down a little longer as he hovered over the Halfling and sunk his teeth into the male’s flesh around his shoulder and neck, drawing blood and sending small droplets roll down the male’s skin, Altair partook of the Halflings blood holding him a little tighter as the blood ran down his throat.
