With a sharp crackle lightning zigzagged out of the black storm clouds rolling out overhead. The clouds looked dark even against the night sky the clouds shrouded the whole area in a downpour of first warm, and then cold water as it continued to beat down any citizens still outside. Speaking off, he was currently helping a group of people with their travel from Chorrol to Avil with some goods to trade with the ships and so on. They didn’t have the chance to stop by Kvatch, due to its recant unfortunate event. So they left and headed out straight to Anvil with high hopes, sadly not overly far away now, they had gotten caught in this storm, to late to turn back, but also unable to camp in it.
Falcan’s part in this? He was helping to escort them. No he wasn’t a member of the fighter’s guild, he just took it upon himself the help the less fortunate, he fought monsters and fended off animals, simple, and he did his job well, also he could navigate pretty well, even though this rain he managed to keep them headed towards Anvil.
The wind wasn’t to strong but the rain pounded down on them restlessly. Falcan took a moment to catch his breath and turned behind to let the others walk past him he counted the men again, they were growing tired, what went from a fair trip to something almost horrid. Falcan nodded to the straggler and took his pack from him hefting it over his shoulder the man shouted thanks though the loudness of the falling rain. Falcan pressed on boots sloshing though mud and water. He glanced up at the dark sky then back ahead in the distance he could see the stone walls of the city. Thank the gods. “keep heading on we are almost there” he shouted the men started to show some hope, people in the city were most likely worried about them as well. A few torches could be seen shimmering though the darkness.
Finely upon getting closer to the City the men smiled and praised the beings each may have believed in. it seemed the closer they got and hope filled the others, his strength started to fade. Energy depilating rapidly. He’d gotten them all here safe, fought the storm and helped them as much as he was able. And now the few days without any real sleep, not eating correctly amongst other things, he realized how tired he was. of course his heavy soaked clothes only added to the effect. He felt dizzy his vision blurry as he trudged on, he wasn’t sure if it was his eyes or just the rain. His red eye and blue, his left (blue) eye’s vision wasn’t as clear but that was normal. This time he felt himself slowing, a few other men noticing him, tried to move a bit faster for the man that had helped them this far.
Reaching the gate the men hurried in, Falcan still took up the rear, someone finely came back and took the baggage from him. He felt relieved at least a little. But felt his knees buckle under him. He felt sick, his mussels ached.. Breathing heavily he choked and coughed, two other men ran back to him each of them lifted one arm over their shoulders and helped him walk toward the gate, it was like entering heaven, his worries could now all rest, along with his body he hoped, he stood and nodded a thanks over looking the guards men helping the others and so on. Falcan Nightrode started off but found himself falling into a wall and slowly sliding down into more water, but he didn’t care, he could have slept here just like this if they let him. Water ran down his face and his hair continued to cling to the Half Altmer’s face, as he sucked in deep breaths. The men who’d let the others and guards take care of their things crowded around him, a male took Falcan’s cloak and weapons and fallowed as Nord carefully hefted him up on his back and started toward an inn.

Alessandra would have been looked at funny while she hustled the streets of Anvil. she made her way threw the incredibly wet streets of Anvil, with her basket. her basket was full of foodstuffs, don't ask her why but she felt she would need them.
Alessandra had gone out earlier that day buying food of all kinds but mostly things to make a broth in. the vegetables, the bread and other things. the stuff that was in her shopping basket puzzled her, she was going to give it too a beggar but then...
she saw the reason why she would need them. She saw a familiar figure being almost dragged in, Falcan. she picked up the front of her dress slightly and made her way over to the people entering the city.
"hey that man!" she started "is he going to be alright?"
the travelers were bringing Falcan inside the city when a rather pretty but strange woman meet them in the middle of the pouring rain. they could barely hear her.
"Ma'am he helped us along the way to the city for next to nothing. we are going to take him somewhere to dry off and help..." a loud crack of thunder sounded cutting off what he finished saying.
"Follow me, he is a friend of mine." she waved them to follow. " i am staying at the count's arms. my suit has plenty of room." she lead the two men that helped Falcan into the counts arms.
Wilbur just raised an eyebrow at the lady when she brought and lead two men carrying a third upstairs. she nodded and waved to him as she went by. "alright do you think you boys can make it up the stairs?"
"yes ma'am." the one man said the other just nodded. and they followed her up to one of the larger rooms in the inn it even had its own fireplace. when they got to her room she pulled down and back her hood of her cloak. revealing a dark haired, pretty woman.
"gentleman i thank you and you may leave. i am sure you will wish to thank Falcan properly once he is all better?" the men nodded and left.
"i do apologize falcan, my dear." she leaned over him and next to him on the bed putting her cool hand on his face. "Falcan wake up." she paused for a moment "Falcan if you can hear me please, let me know?" she continued " i need to get you out of these soaked cloths." she smoothed the hair with her fingers nails gently away from his face, and gently ran the back of her fingers along his check.

Falcan had pretty much turned all else out once in the city his eyes were half open at best, or closed, and all he heard of felt afterward was the rain, but he did feel being moved but his body was to tired to make a response to it. He trusted the men not to leave him somewhere, he disliked the idea knowing how tired they had to be, now taking care of him, but by now half his mind didn’t really care as he slipped halfway into sleep. Soon enough he felt something soft under him, and feeling it, even as it grew cold and wet as well, made his mind just want to separate from his body for a while.
He heard a voice it was rather muffled but for some reason tented to warm his mind a little, back to reality at hand, hopefully he wasn’t dead. His breathing became normal, but his heart still pounded rather quickly, chest rising in and out, his eyes slowly opened half way again to see two blurry figures leaving his line of view, then another beside him, his mind ached he tried to speak but nothing came out loud. However he kept muttering something in his mind ‘Alessandra’. She spoke to him, all he could do to show he was still alive was keep breathing, as his mind drifted in and out of consciousness once again.
After a while he slowly opened his eyes, a clearly seen tiredness to them. He tired to speak but nothing ‘human’ came out, just a few mumbled and slurred words. His body felt warmer, he wondered how long he had been out. Groggily he slowly came too, well it wasn’t raining on him anymore, and he was dry, his hair slightly damp but nothing he couldn’t deal with now.
He turned to glance around slowly razing a hand to look at his blurry seeming fingers. His vision, or at least as good as it ever was in his good-eye and his not-as-good eye was coming back. “where…am I?” he asked with a light pant then breaths grew a bit quicker he felt all the pain come back, shocking him awake, he must not have been out to long. “Alessandra!” he suddenly gasped and quickly sat up only to let out a loud gasping groan on pain and then wince. He panted and put a hand over his chest…wait. His chest was bare. He looked down at his scared flesh a then silently wondered to himself what else was missing, to his relief he was wearing a pair of shorts. But they were also dry. His shoulders shock slightly as he looked to try and see around the room, but vision had become cloudy again.

Alessandra had mad quick work of Falcan's wet clothing and giving him something else to wear while he was going in and out of consciousness for the past few days. she had fed and taken care of him, things she seemingly done a lifetime ago. for someone just as dear to her as Falcan is. she was sitting at the desk in her room writing in her journal, her book so to speak.
Given the event that she would die she would leave this to whomever, and maybe, just maybe the world wouldn't look at Vampires as just monsters. as not all vampires were feral beast that lived in caves. she would check on Falcan every so often, now that his fever broke and wasn't so high she could leave the bedside for a while.
She took the quill away from the page and put it up, she left the journal open, so the ink could dry. she then got up to see if the soup should be ready. she had a strange feeling Falcan would be waking up today and he would most likely be able to have more 'solid' food, like veggies and some meat in his stomach.
she was up at the small pot she had resting over the fire. she used a towel of fabric to pick up the handle to the lid and stirred it. making sure it wasn't burning. she covered it back and kept it just out of the fire's reach. enough to keep it warm. she had just finished when she herd Falcan mutter then sit up saying her name.
"well, if i didn't know any better and given the circumstance. I'd say you were happy to see me." she said as she sat down next to him on the edge of the bed.
"how are you feeling?" she said as she brushed her hands to his forehead only feeling a low grade fever.
"your fever is all but gone, would you like something to eat?" she brought her hands back to rest on her red velvet clad lap.

Falcan smelt something in the air that made his stomach want to twist in knots. He slowly looked over to see the vampire as she spoke and sat on the bed besides him. “Alessandra.” he spoke giving a happy but tired smile. Then eyes stayed on her as she touched his forehead. He blinked then smirked lightly. “where….are we?” he asked glancing around. “I barely recall anything, how long was I out?” he asked slightly embarrassed and tugged on the sheets some. Still a little chilly to him, but he was comfortable now.
He blinked then chuckled. He had to admit it. “starving.” he stated calm but actually thrilled he was here, and she was as well, that or he was really going insane after all. “I was helping some men…..are they all alright?” he asked he thought he recalled making it to the city with everyone, but who knows maybe he’d passed out somewhere else and everyone was eaten. He hoped that it wasn’t just a dream everything was ‘fine’. he wondered where his things were as well. All this thinking made his head throb, also his mind was drawn back to the point that she had been taking care of him for however long…. He felt himself glance away from her a moment and scoff lightly “thank you………have you been here the whole time?” he asked calmly then looked back at her.
[by the nine i am sorry the next one will be better ^^;]

Alessandra smiled lightly at Falcan's worry over the people he assisted to get here. "you are in Anvil, Falcan." she spoke as she stood up and went to the fireplace, opening the lid the same way she did before he woke up. but instead this time but used the ladle to scoop some soup into a bowl she had next to the fireplace. she walked back to the bed, grabbing a spoon along the way.
"here, eat this it will help you get your strength back." she said ans she gently handed it to him. then proceeded to sit down on the chair next to the bed to give him room to eat.
"The people you helped are grateful, and have made it to Anvil all in one piece. they help bring you to my room." she looked at him and nodded. "yes i have been here the whole time Falcan." she tilted her dark haired head. "why dose that bother you?" she folded her hands slightly nervous, had she read wrong the entire time she had known him?
((OC: yes, she is nervous... ))

He watched her then soon enough took the bowl, he blew on it lightly and couldn’t help but dig in, but managed to keep most his manners intact. Thinking about the people he nodded. “good I am glad they are fine” he stated, it was just like him to worry more over someone else then himself, and now look what that had gotten him. He took another flavorful bite and moaned softly. “you are the best cook……” he chuckled then blinked and swallowed. He looked up at her but then looked slightly away trying to keep his face skin tone, rather then blush. “no its fight, it just surprised me is all.” he stated, and that was the truth, wasn’t like she saw something she probably hadn’t before.
“thank you, it seems you are always getting me out of trouble.” he smirked faintly. And then finished off the remaining of the bowl, and drank the juice as well, then let out a warm sigh. Like heaven. He relaxed his shoulders and inhaled deeply. “sorry you had to take care of me though………I suppose, I should have taken better care of himself..” he admitted looking down then paused. How long had he been out?
“you are…..always there.” he smiled. “it seems I’m never in reach to help you though” he frowned slightly and watched her then groaned some his body still ached but not near as much as it did. “I take it, its not raining anymore…..?” he smirked.

Alessandra smiled softly at Falcan with a slight grin. "thank you for the complement on my cooking, i haven't cooked in about six-hundred years... i have had no need too." she said with a tinge of sadness in her voice. "it is nice to cook again... and it is nice to look after someone."
she paused and look out the window she pulled the curtain back it was a partly-cloudy night. the moon was almost full and the stars, what one could see, were bright and twinkling. "the rain has passed for a short while, but the scent of rain is on the air again, most likely buy morning." she opened the window a bit to let some fresh air in. "everyone needs someone there Falcan, you are there when i need you in ways others can't, and the way i prefer it to be."
she came back over to the bed ans sat at the chair running her hands over her red dress. "though i must say you had me worried Falcan, you were out for a few days." she re-adjusted the lace along the sleeves, it having not re-fallen down after she opened the window. a small breeze came threw the window playing with her long dark strands. the breeze carries the calming soothing, damp smell of rain along with it.

Falcan watched her every movement then paused closing his eyes a moment thinking about it was kind of saddening , he felt sorry for her, being a vampire, but perhaps part of him was also thankful or she most likely wouldn’t be living today in the same time as he. But was that selfish of him? She seemed both thankful and some what regretful of her condition, as some would call it. He watched her, her silhouette in front of the window. She was beautiful.. Her hair gently shifting in the breeze the open window let in, her tall perfect figure with the deep colored dress.
"everyone needs someone there Falcan, you are there when I need you in ways others can't, and the way I prefer it to be."
Her words hit him a moment. He paused unsure how to reply then sucked in a deep breath of fresh air. Closing his eyes and brushing some of his hair back thinking. Also, so he was out for a few days, ah man he felt like a burden. “sometimes I wonder if I am just a burden.” he sighed lightly then shook his head “I shouldn’t think like that…….right” he told himself then looked back upon her, Alessandra , that woman, and the only person who’d ever gotten to him, and most likely the only person who could somehow understand him, and he hoped, he tried to understand her the best he could. But sometimes wondered if it was best? Again her comment played though his mind everyone needs someone’
He shufted slightly in his bed and slid to the edge to sit facing to her, he wasn’t going to get up, though doubted she would let him just get up and go so soon anyways. He waited for her to move just a little closer before he reached out and softly took her wrist. “prefer it to be?” he chuckled ignoring any tiredness or anything else for the time being he softly pulled her toward him then put his free hand around the middle of her back and closed his eyes she was a few inches away from touching him as he looked up at her and pulled her hand up and put his hand flat against it hands together. He gave a heavy breath and smirked. “you are the only person I could ever thought I needed.” he stated.

Alessandra watched Falcan become contemplative. wondering what turned him so quiet all of a sudden. she watched his lightly colored hair get a soft glow as teh moonlight came from behind the clouds. it loked rather interesting, for humans don't 'glow'. she almost giggled at the thought of falcan glowing.
she sat in the chair, she gave him a funny look when he said he felt like a burden. "i should say not, you are no burden. and no you shouldn't talk like that, or even think that. " Alessandra said as she watched the emotions play on his face when he didn't look away.
she smiled gently when he took her wrist, she was about to say something when Falcan pulled her on the bed next to him in an embrace. her checks got a dusting of a pink on them, when he tolder her she was the only person he could ever think that he would need.
"falcan...' she sighed a " i prefer you where you are close to my heart." she would deffinatly have to add in her journal that yes vampires can love too. she said as she returned his embrace.

Falcan heard her speak, but just held her closer feeling her return the embrace. He inhaled deeply, her sent he could almost taste her, breathing her in no one else smelt so nice. He slightly rested his forehead on her shoulder and his hand around her back slowly slid upward along the smoothness of her dress, and came to rest on the back of her shoulders. “thank you.” he muttered once more, most likely sounding like a fool. He’d never been so close to anyone, never so grateful to anyone, no less a woman.
Inside he knew he needed to rest a little more, but he just didn’t want to let her go. Slightly he shifted and slowly laid down on his side on the bed , bringing her with him, he hoped she didn’t mind. Only now he lay facing her his mismatched eyes looking deep within hers. Eyes that led to the soul some said. Her eyes were that of what some would call a beast. Yet he saw something else looking back at him. A woman, a woman with more knowledge, more wisdom then any elder man, compassion of that most others lacked when ‘human’ a since of respect, a powerful since of strength given from a ‘curse’ a long time ago. There was a beast there as well, but no more then the monster found in every other man or woman.
He smiled softly and brought a hand to whip some of the hair from her eyes gently. “I just… don’t want to let you go.”

Alessandra curled up with falcan her nuzzling into his neck. she breathed deep his scent. she could smell all the smells that made falcan him, and she smelt his blood. oh, his blood it soothed her, calmed her. she laid her dark head against his shoulder letting herself relax not sleeping as she would do that later.
she followed falcan's lead as he laid down. which was good he needed more rest. he was gravlly ill for sometime, she was glad when his fever broke. glad when he started on the mend. she looked into his mismatched eyes, eyes that held emotions and belonged to a man. whose strength was deeper than even he believed. a kind man, it made her wonder what he saw when he looked at her.
Alessandra's thought process was interupted by the bright light of lightning and the loud roar of thunder which burst and shook the window as they collided in the sky at the same time. opening up the dark gathered clouds rainin hard.
"you may not want to let me go, but i don't think the proprietor would be too happy with me if i let this room get soaked." she un curled from the embrace. she then closed the door, these were the storms she could sit and watch for hours, just thunder lightning and rain, the wind no where to be seen. she drew the draped to cover the window, and the room was only lit by the fireplace and the few candles she had burning. she blew those out, anbd retunrd to falcan.

Falcan blinked then chuckled a light pinkish tone not sparing his cheeks as she spoke and got up. He sat up shortly after she got up and shifted to lay on his back, on the bed long a ways. He inhaled deeply and managed to stop the redness from further disrupting his cheeks. He brushed his hair back with both his hands and watched her close the window. He smirked silently thinking about how he met this woman. And sucked in another deep breath then noticed the room get dimmer as he smelt the light smell of smoke and candle as he watched her closely.
Finely the room went mostly dark, but he could still her shadowy silhouette and smiled faintly. And gave a heavy sigh. “even in the dark, you seem to shine though” he smirked then watched her sit on the bed. “but I suppose the darkness is nothing for you” he added not meaning it offensively.
He sat up once again and reached out slowly. Hoping she couldn’t hear the heart in his chest pounding, ad his failing attempt to calm it. He took her hand again and pulled her over, not enough to hurt her by any means but enough to give her a small jolt and caught her softly in his arms. Resting one arm around her back and hand lightly touching her shoulder his other hand by his side. "perhaps one day i can do more for you." he smirked knowing he didnt have to 'repay' her she would be fine if he never did, but why would he feel like he didnt have to though? he smirked slightly.

Alessandra curled into Falcan and sighed, thinking mentally you just might be able too falcan. But knowing in her heart she could never ask anything more than him. Than what he was doing right know. She brought a hand and arm up to some of his hair that fell over his shoulder and played with it. She was falling asleep with doing so. She hadn’t gotten any sleep while she was tending to him, to worried was she.
Her red eyes closed and her face relaxed, her dark hair spilling over the bed. She would end up sleeping all night and next day.
(yeah.. short.. i apologize)
