Yoko paused glancing back at her and it was most likely dumb to ask but he did anyway. “so I take it, it rains a lot where you are from?” he asked he didn’t travel much, other then to kill. But he wasn’t asking for detail more like a statement to verify then a question.
Yoko was still looking out into the tunnel that led to the abandoned house and so on. He scratched his neck and nodded lightly. “a higher-ranking Member. He……uhm” he thought for a moment forgetting she was new, she most likely hand met him yet? Should he take her to meet with him? Even though it meant effort on Yoko’s part. “Executioner, I think” by Sithis he hoped he was right, he should know all this stuff by now. Honestly sometimes others wondered why he was here, and that was why. Silently he turned toward her tilting his head lightly to the side watching her but pretended not to notice she was holding something. “do you want to meet him before we leave?” he asked bluntly, caring less either way. The older man didn’t bother him, but of course he wasn’t the same as Lucien. Witch brought up another odd question into the elf’s mind, what did this girl think of the Speaker?….
Yoko awaited her reply pondering other questions before asking one more. “if you want to meet with him its fine, or if you want to call off this mission until it stops raining is fine as well.” he let her know.

A sore spot prodded, Moaana looked at him as if he were an imbecile, and said “It’s Vvardenfell. It’s basically one big island surrounded by lots of little islands. So yes, it rains a lot.” It might have been a little harsh, but in Moaana’s book when in doubt, turn on the scorn.
“It can’t hurt to meet someone apart from you,” she said in response to his offer to meet this ‘Vicente’. In truth, she was a little worried about meeting a superior, or at least someone more superior than the Bosmer. Her old hatred of authority figures was veering its ugly head (although that wasn’t how she saw it).
But her interest in the chance to observe another of her new colleagues, coupled with the fact that although she couldn’t care a whit if she’d managed to antagonise Yoko, she didn’t particularly feel like making a trek in the rain if he happened to be annoyed at her snappiness.
((Look, I can post crappy posts too! Yay!))

[[OOC: sorry my RP with Yoko hasn’t been to hot lately ^^;; I hope you don’t judge me based on one Character lol. Also I will just RP Vicente on this profile because I am to lazy to make two posts on the same board lol. Sorry >.>;]]
Yoko paused a little alarmed at the way she looked and responded to him. He grunted and glanced away eyes taking on a slightly annoyed look. Okay so ALL Dunmer were rude. He rewrote in his mental book. How the heck should he know that the girl was actually from there. He found it interesting, who wouldn’t, Yoko wasn’t born anywhere of any interest, but in Chorrol. Not the place where the Bosmri came from, somewhere they could all dance and sing happy songs and tamper with the minds of animals….. And Dunmer came from a place where every other person hated one another, and the rest summoned the dead. No way Yoko classified people….eh?
Yoko grunted lightly and shut the door making sure it closed then waved her onward as he said nothing and walked towards the back of the main room. A bit annoyed still but he’d get over it, he just figured, that’s what he got for being nice.
Silently Yoko recalled one major fact about the man they would soon be meeting up with. This fact that made him stop and ponder, glancing back at the Dunmer. What would her reaction be to the Vampire? Oh boy this could either be really amusing, or really bad. He wondered if he should tell her or not, but then decided against it, surprises were good, besides all the new members had get used to it one way or another. Also payback, maybe, but most likely she wouldn’t say or do anything and be boring.
Yoko pushed open the door to look around the area and see the Breton sitting at his desk, he seemed to be quite busy scribbling on a piece of parchment, it could had been anything from a new contract, to a love letter, Yoko made it a point not to get on his bad side, so didn’t ever try and poke his nose where it didn’t belong. “Hey.” Yoko began.
Vicente Valtieri, turned slightly to look over his shoulder spotting the Bosmer and Dunmer. His brown hair was hung loosely over his shoulder in a ponytail, his face appeared of that it should, fairly gaunt, pale, with red eyes to match the ensemble. Brushing a strand of hair out of his face he turned sideways in his chair upon putting the parchment away. “Ah, Yoko, and you must be our newest sister. Welcome, to the Dark Brotherhood, the rest of your days here, be they blessed by the dread father himself.” he watched her.
[[Oi. I’m currently ES deprived, so sorry if anything is OOC.]]

Moaana had had vampires described to her before. Any member of the undead was fair game when it came to conversation in a necromancer cave, and she’d always wanted to see one. Note ‘see’ not ‘meet’. This is how Moaana’s messed up mind worked, especially when it came to a subset of being who certainly weren’t animals, but not quite human either.
But to say her new superior’s features jumped out at her would be a gross understatement. His features jumped out at her, took her by the throat and throttled the breath from her, metaphorically speaking. But once the shock was over, she found his visage...enthralling. She realised that his eyes, a vivid scarlet, couldn’t have been that different from her own, but they stood out more because of their stark contrast with the man’s complexion.
For a good half a minute Moaana was silent, retreated into herself to observe before speaking. She was aware that her silence was probably being took as rudeness or sheer terror. The former she had no problem with, the latter she found intolerable. So she held out her dark hand to shake his pale one, and spoke.
“Good day, serjo,” she said, using the Dunmeri term out of respect, for his introduction with talk of ‘the dread father’ had impressed her, “My name is Moaana.”

Yoko blinked at her then huffed lightly well she didn’t freak out, but honestly he didn’t expect her to, it was just humorous when people did. He watched the Executioner a moment he was so, into his job? If that was the correct way to put it. Yoko didn’t feel the same ‘passion’ oh he didn’t mind killing people, but to him, it wasn’t really loads of fun either. Maybe……he should had joined the fighter’s guild after all.
“It is a pleasure. I am Vicente Valtieri.” he nodded, because he was already sitting he didn’t bow completely. “I see you have already made friends.” he gave a light smile. Toward the bosmer who just looked at him with a blank expression, unsure if Vicente was just teasing him or not, the Bosmer just nodded with a smirk. “Please if I can help you with anything, don’t be afraid to ask.” he stated assuringly.
Yoko glanced around the room, kind of plain, the desk and stone slab bed stuck out the most. Or maybe the bed more so, Yoko often found himself wanting to get a piece of charcoal and writing something on it that would get someone else in trouble. Come now, even Yoko liked to have fun sometimes. Yoko had completely spaced out until he heard a voice speak to him: “Have you happened to complete your latest contract yet?” of course it was Vicente who asked him this.
“erruhm, not yet, its raining.” he used one of the most lamest excuses ever, but at least it was true…this time. He watched the vampire then the dunmer, fine, so they would get along? While Yoko and Moaana didn’t seem to so well. Maybe it was just in their blood. Or at least that was a good excuse. Right?
Vicente just lightly shook his head. “it is, and seems it maybe doing so for a while, but thanks to the dark clouds, I was able to get back earlier then expected from my meeting with Lucien Lachance.” he added. This also gained the Bosmer’s attention who then huffed and sat down in a nearby seat. “oh and he didn’t say anything about being out to get you……” the vampire gave a sly smile, that made Yoko shudder then grunt looking away and hiding his face.
“So M’lady, is there anyway I could make your first day in your new home, any more comfortable?” Vicente asked.

While her two colleagues in murder spoke, Moaana slipped over to the claymore leant against the wall by the slab of stone Yoko was sat against. Without asking, she picked it up with both hands, as it was quite heavy. Certainly not a weapon for her muscle-less frame. But she could see several nicks on the blade, evidence that this was no display piece. She glanced at the vampire; he must be very strong. Duly noted. She wondered if he was part of the Quarra family tree. There were plenty of vampires in Morrowind, and her education had included lessons in recognising the different bloodlines of the clans. These lessons had mostly been meant for effective self defence against the creatures. How odd that she was now working alongside one. She was amused at how Yoko seemed to sulk in the presence of Vicente. She could almost smell the semi-playful tension between them. As tempting as it was to assume that Vicente was ‘one of the good guys’ because he seemed to enjoy subtly ribbing the Bosmer, the part of her that struggled against any sort of authority prevented her from this. Still, the vampire seemed more wrapped up in his role as an assassin, and had a sense of style about it; she could respect that. Plus, it might be entertaining to show her nice side to the man he seemed to have some sort of rivalry with. The odd thing was, she didn’t really dislike the Bosmer particularly, well not any more than she disliked all other mer. He’d hit a sore point with her by asking her about her homeland, and perhaps she’d been unfair to snap like she had. But she’d rather go to her grave with a grudge than admit she’d been wrong. “Oh, I find I make my own comfort.” she said in response to Vicente’s question, though with a less stand-offish tone as when she’d told Yoko that ‘she didn’t let people get her into trouble.’ “But I have a question for you: are you of the Quarra bloodline?” ((I know you’re a little ES rusty, so just so know you Vicente was bitten in Morrowind, so is part of one of the bloodlines. The other two are Berne and Aundae, you can decide whether Moaana got it right ))

Vicente glanced out of the corner of his eyes to see Moaana taking an interest in his weapon, he didn’t mind the least bit and even gave a faint smile her way. Before Yoko regained his attention, the Bosmer seemed conflicted. Nearly to much so to be in this particular family. But he still welcomed him and Yoko did good work. Also he seemed very loyal, so there weren’t any other questions about it.
His blood colored eyes looked back upon the Newest Sister and he chuckled almost warmly. “I suppose so then.” he waved a hand. “anything that is ours is your’s.” he stated and with that hopefully she would make herself comfortable. Yoko looked back up but didn’t say anything, he just sat on the ‘bed’ if one really wanted to call it such and watched the two thinking silently to himself, however did look up at Moaana’s question about Vicente’s vampire blood. Something Yoko never thought to ask, of course his question wouldn’t be as specific, because he didn’t know anything about vampires other then some were good, others were bad?
With a small smile Vicente looked back upon her. " My dear, I was stricken over 300 hundred years ago, on a expedition deep into the Ashlands of Vvardenfell. For nearly 100 years I hunted in secret, until the Dark Brotherhood found me." Vicente chuckled slightly almost ironically. " incidentally I will let you, know in a fight against a vampire, as I got some of his blood in a wound while we fought. I killed him, I was not hand picked such as some are. This curse I have learned to embrace and live with. And at rare times I offer this life to others." he thought for a moment. " though I will tell you, there are many vampire clan-families. some who are small. I know of one actually, Morrowind is most likely filled with them as well. it is entirely possible I maybe of any 'families' small or large. But they are not my family, my family is but the Dark Brotherhood, and that is were I like to leave it."
“Perhaps once you have proved yourself Sister, I may give you the opportunity as well. To become a Hunter of the night.”
[[OOC: I am sorry I felt this was the best way to leave it open who whomever’s impanation. I hope that is alright. Random but I have forgotten how many times I have played the DBH quests lol -misses ps3- x.x]]

Moaana nodded as he explained about the different vampire clans. “I know,” she said, a little forcefully as she was eager to show she didn’t need things spelled out for her, “in Te...where I grew up we had to know the difference.”
Hearing the old vampire speak of ‘family’ gave her hope that maybe in time she would grow to think of the Brotherhood in the same way. You’d have thought the name would have hinted at that, but after Yoko’s talk of people breathing down his neck, she’d been momentarily unsure if she would find the kind of solidarity that the name suggested. Vicente, on the other hand, was much more what she’d expect in an assassins’ guild, which was probably why she found it easier to summon up her small reserves of politeness for him.
She did feel a slight unease when Vicente spoke of her becoming a ‘Hunter of the night’. It took her a couple of moments to understand what he meant, and had to stop herself saying ‘You mean make me a vampire?’, or some similarly naive response. Still wanting to stay in control of her side of the conversation, she instead said “If you ever decide I’m worthy, then I’ll be sure to think about it.”
It wasn’t just an empty assurance, either. Become a vampire...now there was something that needed serious consideration.

Yoko looked up and over at Vicente, he spoke about vampires and family, or at least that’s what Yoko paid the most attention to without really caring about the other details hey just confused him if it didn’t concern him. But it did get him to thinking. Namely about family at first. Yoko was young when his real blood-related family died. But the only thing that bothered him the most was the fact he had a brother out there somewhere, a brother he’d forgotten due to some screwed up event when they were younger, and he had forgotten. A elder brother he hoped was still alive, and if he were to pray to Sithis as messed up as it sounded, he just wanted the brother to be alive, if nothing else. Lucien knew about Yoko’s search for answers, and maybe Vicente. No one else did.
His other thoughts? About vampires, in the name of all that was good, Vincent was the only vampire he would maybe trust with his life, the others even those siblings he met a while back, he wasn’t overly sure of. And left it at that. As far as becoming a vampire, it perplexed him, but it wasn’t really something he wanted to try, not planned to any time soon.
Vicente chuckled mildly with his lips creased in a smile. “Of course, it is just a offer, nothing more, and isn’t something I would advise doing without careful and deep consideration.” he added. “but please do trust me, the needs of the Dark Brotherhood come before my personal needs as a vampire.” he stated.

Having asked her question and made her judgement on the character of the vampire, Moaana was now quickly losing interest in the conversation. She wondered if it had stopped raining yet; if it had, she was keen to carry out her first paid contract.
Which reminded her, Yoko hadn’t told Vicente he’d offered her the chance to share said contract. Had he merely forgotten, or was it not considered properly to give someone else a contract? Either way, she reckoned it would be interested to hear what Vicente had to say, though if he thought he could tell her what to do he had another thing coming. He might be her sort-of boss, but she still did what she wanted.
Besides, it’d be amusing if Yoko had deliberately missed that out. “Yoko suggested I carry out the contract with him,” she announced, eyes fixed on Yoko’s face to gauge a reaction, “Is this customary?”
She noticed that Yoko was wearing distinctive leather armour, with the same hand-print insignia on the back that was on the tapestries. She wondered if he’d had it made especially to match the symbol, but given his lack of enthusiasm she doubted this. No, more likely he had been given it, which made her wonder if she’d be given her own armour too. Not that she needed hand-me-downs, but if it was better than what she had now then she was game.

Yoko played broadly with the end of his ponytail, he nearly fell out of his seat when she mentioned his name.. and blinked looking at her and the vampire, making a slightly face, he didn’t think it was something that would get him in trouble, but still he felt like he was being tattled on for something he did do, or did? Hmm..
Vicente looked at her then toward Yoko at the mention of a contract. He chuckled lightly, slightly taken back he shook his head.. “not customary, we rarely give contracts that require the use of more then one person’s skills.” he pointed out then looked back upon Yoko who just looked back at him emptily and then the wood elf shrugged. The vampire sighed faintly and shook his head. “but I don’t see any problem with it either I suppose.” he thought about it. “we give contracts, I will be giving them to you until you advance in rank a few times, obeying the tenets comes above all else. Have you be notified of these?” he asked just to be sure. “well we give you contracts it is up to you to fulfill for out Unholy Matron or not, the more you fulfill, you will grow in rank here, and perhaps even gain special privileges, further along of course .” oh how many members had he said the same things to before? It was almost humorous but he didn’t mind, not the least bit.
Yoko huffed lightly.
“if you haven’t learned them, or need refreshing on the Tenets just ask Yoko I’m sure he knows them quite well by now.” the Vampire spoke politely then looked to give the Bosmer a rather sly look.
Yoko looked at the Breton a bit of a shocked look on his face he looked between he and Moaana . “hey!” he gasped slightly making a screwed up face and rubbed his head, groaning, part of him hoped she didn’t ask him.
“Oh right, I am sorry I nearly forgot.” Vicente stood up and smoothed out his shirt before walking over to a trunk, and crouched down tucking the key in its hole and turned, finely opening the old trunk he seemed to reach though for a moment then nodded as if agreeing with himself about something pulling out some cloths and turned back toward her approaching her relaxed stance. “they aren’t mandatory, but you may find them to be useful in your deeds.” he smiled handing her the shrouded armor and hood.

Moaana smirked to herself at the Bosmer’s apparent dismay, and Vicente’s further teasing. She wondered momentarily if she was perhaps fuelling a tense working relationship, but brushed it off, thinking that if just a few of her, albeit well placed, words did do damage, then the damage was waiting to happen anyway. She couldn’t be expected to walk on egg shells all the time.
She was glad, however, that Vicente was still willing to allow her to fulfil the contract. Her suspicions about Yoko’s armour were confirmed when he handed her her own set. She held the two pieces up for inspection; they looked to be a good fit. Clearly Vicente had done this many times before.
She ran her fingers over its smooth surface, almost too smooth even for leather. Her magicka training had taught her to detect enchantments, at least to a reasonable degree, and she thought she could feel a Fortify Illusion, Marksman, Blade, Acrobatics and...something else she couldn’t quite define.
While she didn’t have the courtesy to thank Vicente for the raiment, she gave a simple nod of approval before walking out to try the armour on.

Vicente gave a small nod in turn to her seemingly thankful one for the new wardrobe, he watched her exit the area, and waited in the room where they were. He looked upon the Bosmer still sitting on the stone slab he used for sleeping. Yoko made is to easy to tease him, sometimes Vicente just couldn’t help himself. But he wondered how much other people messed with him, regardless at least Yoko hadn’t snapped yet. He walked toward the Elf and nodded politely. He pulled a piece of folded parchment out of a inner pocket in his vest. “I have something for you” he spoke softly.
Yoko looked up at Vicente with a empty look in his amber eyes but it also showed slightly annoyance and question. “already have a contract” Yoko felt around his own person forgetting where he put the parchment. The vampire shook his head and waved his hand slightly to regain the Bosmer’s attention. “no no, something else” Yoko looked up at him to hear his words but was completely oblivious still. “huh?” he razed a brow looking rather confused..
Vicente handed him the folded parchment telling him, it was about ‘that’. and Yoko quickly snatched it away from the older man, barely avoiding giving him massive paper cuts. Unfolding it he looked over it quickly a small smile creased his lips then it faded as he huffed. “this isn’t really that helpful.” Yoko groaned. “but thanks anyway.” he nodded. “tell Lucien………..thanks for me.” he struggled slightly with the last part. ‘thanks’ to Lucien? Had to be something juicy! Vicente nodded and gave a shrug. “it is wonderful news, perhaps the Night Mother has blessed you with some change in luck.”
Yoko looked a little bewildered at Vicente then simply shook his head. “hah!” he laughed sarcastically. and crammed the parchment in his pocket.

Rooting out a full length mirror in one corner of the living quarters, Moaana inspected her new look. Well, it was certainly better looking than those stupid robes she’d been forced to wear when she was in the necromancer gang. Much more practical too; it seemed no part of the leather armour was without some sort of weapon holster or a pocket virtually invisible to the naked eye. Plus she wasn’t about to trip over any free-flowing hems. Courtesy of the many buckles and straps for adjustment, the armour fit surprisingly well for something not tailor made. Dolsme would no doubt have called it sexy. Moaana grimaced; why did her flighty younger sister come to mind now?
Making her way back to where Yoko and Vicente were conversing, she quickly stuck her head round the front door; the rain had slowed to a dreary drizzle, but at least now she wouldn’t be soaked to the skin.
She re-entered Vicente’s quarters just as Yoko laughed explosively. She gave him a bemused and slightly disdainful glance, before turning to Vicente.
“I think this will do fine.” This was as close as Moaana got to expressing gratitude. “The rain’s stopped, by the way.”

Yoko huffed and shook his head displeased about something then looked back upon the dunmer, she already looked different dressed like that, he just gave a light nod. As did the vampire standing beside him “suites you well.” he stated politely then headed back over toward his desk. He paused a moment as she said something about the rain had stopped and he took a moment to listen, his hearing was rather good too.
Yoko blinked then shrugged, leaning back on his hands he still sat but started to think about the contract, she mentions the rain because she wanted to go? or just simply because? Women confused him…..heck people confused him.
“I see if you two wish to partake that contract together or alone, go ahead, I see no reason to stop you, but do take care, and may the will of Sithis keep you safe on your travel.” he stated seating once more at his desk. Yoko gave him a look, not really out of distaste but question. Then looked toward Moaana and stood stretching some. “well I don’t have anything better to do.” he smirked. Seemed his mood had improved at least a little bit. He picked his things back up and hung them over one shoulder with one hand, his free hand brushed some bangs out of his face he looked to the dunmer. “ready to go hunting as well?” he asked unsure, if she didn’t want to, he could just go by himself he really didn’t mind either way but he needed to get out regardless. “I mean we are both here for a reason, either because we couldn’t ever sleep again normally after tall dark and moody woke us up in the middle of the night, OR because you want to kill…..” he managed a small smirk and pushed open the door leading back to the main area.
