For months, they had been charting these waters, the waters of the Abecean sea. Months of no blood...no blood!. All the cattle were dead, all of them drained dry and no land to make port, the map was burned, the heading unknown. Miles and miles upon miles and miles. Draken opened the door to the Captain's quarters in their recently salvaged ship. Cameron the usurper is defeated, the last of the Undead killed and driven into the seas by Baron Othrok and his allies . Draken's crew were being pursued by them,, his allies. Now, night came, Draken awoke from the safety of the deep dark cargo hold of the ship. The uncomfortable wooden coffins made him mumble in various different forms of swearing when he woke up from the coffins.
Raven awaited his presence at the ship. She was gazing at the ocean as always, thinking of things only she knew. Draken crept up behind her. "Nice night" He said.
Raven turned around, her face dead from any life, pale, skinny and bony. Many see her as an ugly, horrible abomination, a blood sucking monster, a creature of the night. But Draken knew well, despite what she does, he loved her as a sister and she is beautiful regardless. They had been defeated...for now. And they needed t return to Cyrodiil, their stronghold. Oh how Draken missed his lands, it was over a year he had been gone from them.
"It is" she replied, keeping her dead, deep eyes staring at the endless waters under the cool night.
Draken rested his back on the ship's wheel. "How long do you think we will see land?" He asked.
Raven shook her head. "I am quite sure" she said monotonously.
Many of the vampiric crew members started to complain and argue with each other. Bickering with loud savergy and annoying shouts.
Raven clenched her fists and turned around, black hair spinning in the air accordingly. As she opened her mouth to silence them, a booming sound rivaled hers. The air grew thicker and a large bang made everyone shake.
Draken ducked, nearly falling off of his feet. The entire ship shook.
"Cannon fire!!" Draken shouted, warning everyone. Raven knew immediately they were being pursued..even closer.
Raven got up from the wet wooden floor. "Marcus! Starboard. Ishmaela, bow the cannons!"
"I'll keelhaul ya!" Shouted another member of the crew, warning those who did not obey the orders.
The enemy ship began to gain closer and closer, it was much faster and larger than the ship Raven was commandeering. It was futile to escape. The large ship began to fire more cannons, each of them making a successful hit. Draken growled loudly, pushing Raven down as a canon flew over her head and smacking against the mass. "Careful!" He warned her. Raven shoved him off of her. "We cant persist like this!. Enough!" Raven called out. "Surrender!"
Draken looked at her with a confused look. "No" He said.
Raven nodded. "We need to." she turned to all of them "Let them get closer, within range, we make ourselves unknown to the naked eye. We can take their ship" Another canon flew at them, this time missing them. Raven continued to speak over the rushing waters. "They have a map to land and they have live cattle!". "Await them!" She added.
All the vampiric crew members stood silent, the captain finally stopped the rudder and the ship's anchor fell to the bottom of the ocean. Everyone stood silently, hiding from canon fire. The enemy vessel came closer, they could hear the ship's massive existence come into range. Firing more canons at them, one making a hit at the bottom, scratching the surface of their ship, water began to slowly pour into the ship. They were sinking. "Now" Draken whispered. All the crew members used their hunger for flesh and blood to their benefit, they used the Embrace of Shadows to vanish from sight. The enemy ship's captain, a old Nord male stopped to look about. No one. Draken, Raven, everyone were there, but they were invisible. No one to be seen. The redguard second in command came into view, a torch lit in his hand. "I don't see any of em'"
"They be hidin under board. Go get em, we must kill em all, all of the Usurper's allies" The captain said. The redguards, Orcs and Imperials all shouted, invading Raven's ship. Obviously, Vampire could see in the dark, using the Hunter's sight, they were able to see each other. Raven motioned her hands towards the enemy ship, as the men and mer ran across them to get to the bottom and the captain's quarters, they invaded the enemy ship. The captain standing over, watching his crew break glasses and search the ship.
"Aye, captain, I fear they be gone, overboard perhaps."
The captain spat in the ground and looked into the waters. "Nay, they be hidin in the ship, keep searching" He shouted.
"Captain, we have found nothing but dead folks here, drained of blood. No live ones"
Suddenly, Raven appeared behind the captain, raising her dagger to slice his throat, but to her dismay, this captain was an experienced man. He dodged her attack with ease., easily overpowering her and making her miss the hit. Raven fell over, her blood lust powering over her thoughts and ability to fight. What was the point of having strength to kill someone if she could not bear the skill. Raven opened her mouth, fangs dropping to their lengths. Draken pulled his katana, swinging it at the second in command, the Red guard grabbed his cutlass and began to fight with Draken. Raven for the captain, and the vampiric crew members cut the ropes that linked enemy to friendly ship.
"Markus!. Set sail!" Raven commanded, voice raspy and hungry. She lunged for the Captain, scratching him in the face. The captain smacked Raven off of him, but she kept on coming back. The crew members of the enemy ship noticed their ship leaving, they began sailing to chase after them, water began to enter the ship's hole, slowing it down. "We must catch up!" Shouted a Dunmer from the mortal crew.
Draken blocked and parried against the Redguard. As Raven kicked the captain in the face, then doing a swift leg-sweep, she heard something else. Something...something bad!.
The storms began to shout and roar, lightning hitting the skies and the water. Draken heard it as well, he thought he had seen it all. Raven was not as surprised, but very startled. A Maelstrom appeared out of nowhere. The waters began to circle around a dark spot in the ocean, growing larger and spinning around like a vortex of the void. The Redguard stopped his attack to see what was happening, everyone was startled. Draken took the opportunity and attacked the Redguard again. "HA!" Draken roared. The crew began to fight the remaining mortal crew. Attempting to take over their ship, the ships began to lose control and follow towards the dark hole in the middle of the ocean. Raven did not fight, she was to hypnotized by this. A wicked smile crept over her frightening visage, she began to chuckle, looking at the Captain.
"We die..we take you with us" she said sarcastically. Raising her large dagger-like short-sword. The ship began to draw closer to the maelstrom's edge. The Dark abyss was huge!. Dark and voidful, the bottom could not be seen, nor the depths calculated. A door to Oblivion itself.
The mortals began to cry out in fear as the ship fell in, slowly turning over as the walls of the deep whirlpool spurned it around. Raven chuckled to herself. Would she survive this? A Immortal? It was time for her to see. Draken gasped, looking at his sister with a angry look. "Are you mad!?"
Raven shook her head, saying no. As the ship began to descend in the bottom of the void, the immortal crew members fought the mortal scum, one even turning to ash as a blade struck him while he fell over into the dark abyss. The Nord captain eyes widened in fear, for he knew this was the The whirlpool in the Abecean called the Maelstrom of Bal. The Captain was defiant to the end!. He turned to the Imperial abomination, raising his cutlass towards her. "Damned creature! Ye die! Now!" He shouted, charging at her with his cutlass. Raven snickered and ran towards him with an even quicker speed. Pushing her body into the air, she tackled the Nord captain over board, both of them falling into the abyss, she looked up to the sky, the ocean's surface a long way up, the abyss, still a long way down. There was no escaping this fate, she chuckled as the other ship began to fall into the abyss as well. Canons, barrels and crates toppling over the invading mortal crew members their pathetic bodies falling overboard.
Draken, in disbelief, screamed in shock as is sister voluntarily decided to make a suicide jump. Draken ran towards the edge, looking down towards her, he saw her still fighting with the captain. Draken never thought he would die this way..or always imagined himself being vanquished by the sword. If he was going to die, it would be alongside Raven. Draken leaped from the edge of the ship, falling down towards the abyss. "Ahh!" He said, voice echoing into air. The rushing water began to close, the surface of the ocean was escaping his site. The Maelstrom was closing shut!. It ended here. Draken glimpsed Raven knocking the Captain further down by kicking him in the nose mid flight. Draken closed his eyes as the whirlpool swallowed them whole.

Dead. Draken was dead....was he? Was he in the afterlife?. The air was cold..very cold. Freezing cold, like sharp needles striking his skin. But..Draken never felt this cold before, hos body was naturally cold. Slowly, Draken opened his eyes, he felt something strange beneath his feet. Something squishy and..muddy!. It was muddy..dark and damp. The sky is on fire, flames replacing clouds! Truly beautiful if not entirely fear striking. The ground is sludge, but traversable. Blackened ruins all around him, like a war was fought there in the distant past. Draken was before a palace, a large palace, red, full of blood and..fesses. Where was he?. Draken looked around, noticing his crew members were there also, few of them. Draken sighed in relief, looking for Raven, she was the most important person out of all of them. Draken found her!, seriously wounded however. Her stomach was gushing blood, but as strong as she was, she was limping a bit. Raven smiled at him, recognizing the location, did she come here before? Or heard of it?
Raven smiled at Draken, the clan members that were present began to investigate the are around them. They werent near an ocean, they were teleported somewhere else. Land, moutains around them, small ruins to the south. It resembled Tamriel..but destroyed and ruined, seemed like after an apocolpytic event anyhilated it.
Draken and the rest stood over the sludgy ground, lookig up into the firy sky. No doubt, they were in the lands of Oblivion, but not just any realm like Mehrunes Dagon, this was another realm of Oblivion.
Raven knew she was destined for much more than this, she would not die so easily. For she had heard of this place before and always dreamed of visiting it as a little girl.
"ColdHarbour" Raven said. "This is the Realm of our Kin-Father..."
