He leaned back in the warn out yet sturdy chair of the lodge. his leather clad form was a normal appearance in such a place. as was the 'race' the person was. the dark haired light eyes Mer-mix was nursing a bottle of some kind of alcohol. he tilted his head back and drank the rest of the contents as he placed the bottle gently back on the table. his bright gaze flickering to the other mer at the table.
Another Mer sat at the table and watched the action of the mer besides him. the mer was much taller and darker were the other was concerned. the dark brown eyes of the blonde male were brought back to what he was regarding. a scroll of sorts he had found/ received. it was something given to him by the Mer next to him held some knowledge of a treasure most likely some artifact. nothing that the other was too keen on but he knew he would like it all the more.
Under the table stretched out was a timber wolf with a large leather belt loosely around its neck serving to remind people this animal was 'tame'. the silvery gray animal yawned as he stretched a little more. leaning his head up to lick the mer's hand. the one reading the scroll handed something to the calm other one as he then placed a piece of meat upon the floor.
The meat the one mer ate was different than the one he gave to the wolf. the meat the wolf got was animal and the other had almost a fish-like look to it. though it was as red as any meat one could see. though the Argonian Matron was a little skeptical about the Bosmeri-like Mer. the meat ranked like a Argonian.
The Mer were preoccupied thought wise at the moment both which each of his thoughts. not noticing if anyone new came into the lodge as they seemed to be the only patrons at the moment...

It had been a rough travel from Bravil to this place, not quite her fancy but things seemed a bit calmer down here, or perhaps just a good place to disappear for a while. It took longer for news to reach the furthest areas. She wore a dark cloak over the rest of her clothes, hood pulled up hiding her head. Entering the town she made sure to try and look less menacing, smiling or waving when needed to the common people. Whatever. She didn’t have anything better to do if the thought came up.
She started to head to the lodge mainly it was good for information gathering her cup of tea, pushing open the wooden door with a slight creaking sound she entered feeling there was no need for the cover she thought about removing it, but instead tugged slightly on her hood and walked over to the owner, ordering something before walking toward a table slightly toward the corner she sat and set her bags down in the seat next to her with a small sigh. The only person here knowing she was in fact a see was the owner when they just talked, she liked the mysterious vale, she played it well, besides it kept people on their toes, or for some, lured them in.
It was cool in here and this pleased her well. Without anything to do she hated being out in the heat just to be out in it, so here she sat, got her order filled as the man brought her a plate of bread and some stewed meat, along with a glass of water, and she ate her fill having paid beforehand for the meal and room, and waited for something to happen, people to fill the ledge and start talking gossiping and carrying on, after all she was just the stranger in the back.
After finishing her meal and drink off she sunk into her chair barely enough to look over the table if she wanted, but right now she looked down, her eyes caught something, something not often seen in a place like this, she slowly sat back up and leaned over the side of the table to look over at the strangers, and on the floor under their table was a wolf. Picking up a piece of dried meat she couldn’t help herself standing and making her way over toward them, but at a safe distance she crouched and pitched the leftover to the animal, seeming the pet of these two. Honestly though she didn’t care to give them any of the attention she was their pet, but it was most likely that this happened to them often, whomever’s the wolfs owner was.

Aegnor didn't pause in his reading when a new person came into the place. he was busy making notes and translating the scroll he was given. he needed to crack the code on the item that the ruin or fort seemed to hold. it obviously belonged to the royal family at one point there was the royal seal on the scroll so what ever it was, would be either worth a lot or a interesting trinket to have.
Yggdrasil relaxed as he finished the piece of Argonian meat he had. though he was tired, and would like to go to bed. he wouldn't until later other wise he would be up, before dawn. and around leyawiin that is the most boring time to be wondering around leyawiin. that and the most wet time besides dusk.
Varlais munched happily on his peice of offered meet. he swollowed and ripped another piece off finishing it. though he tilted his head at the new person who was aproaching him with a peice of new meat. Varlais and he sniffed at the meat and the person before taking it gently while wagging his tail so hard he was thumping it against the relaxed mer's leg, causing him to laugh.
"its seems Varlais likes you." the dark haired mer spoke with a chuckle the other letting him do the talking.

Kazane smiled faintly as the wolf seemed pleased with her, and tamer then most dogs. Or at least was good at acting like he was. She watched it eat happily then blinked as she heard someone seem to speak to her. She smiled faintly. “Varlais..” she repeated and watched the wolf with a slight nod. “sometimes animals like me, sometimes they don’t” she chuckled faintly, she didn’t care if they knew she was a woman, after all what harm could it do? More so when she could most defiantly take care of herself.
She stood and shifted to look upon the others giving a light bow as greeting. “all is well I hope? Sorry for messing with your animal.” she rubbed the back of her hood over her neck. “it’s a nice day out, I strolled in looking for a small job or something I can pick up on, what about you two?” she asked innocently, and sat down on a chair a little closer to the two elves table and the wolf. “don’t mind me saying, you don’t look like you live here” he leaned her chin in her hand, and elbow on the table then smiled some. “sorry…..” she pretended to be a little shy. “guess its stupid for a stranger to ask so many dumb questions, I guess the long trip here alone got to me” she blicked flustered and fidgeted her fingers on the table.
[GYAH! sorry x.x crappy crappy]
