Time for an introduction I guess... Hi, I'm Kamil Drakari. I only started the Elder Scrolls with Oblivion, but I got that the day it came out and I still play it so I guess that still makes it one of my favorite series (I can't wait for whenever V comes out...). I've actually tried an Oblivion RP before, but it never really got started beyond the admin and me... Anyways, I've always been especially good at the lockpicking and the only locks that can stop me are the ones that are entirely impervious (I'm not exaggerating. I honestly have picked a 5-tumbler lock with a single pick and Novice skills). Aside from Oblivion, I've been playing Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 recently, and sometimes S4 league (if anybody actually knows what that is). Umm... I guess that's... probably more than anybody actually needed or wanted to know, but feel free to ask questions ^.^

Thanks, actually I do have a question. How do you feel about non-cannon organizations? For example, I had an idea for a kind of Imperial Special Forces that would "take care" of "problems" using "questionable methods" (if you catch my drift).

lol well it kind of depends perhaps lol. it sounds alright, so im not just going to say no, but I would like to hear what you have in mind if you dont mind? lol that way i may give pointers or understand, though sounds alright. as long as there not to much like a current standing guild. etc.

Well they work directly for the Emperor and are entirely unknown to everybody else. They do what needs to be done, but would be bad if people knew what was involved. They are trained to be untracable, but also not reveal their employer if caught. Recently, they revealed themselves to the head of the Council (I forgot his name... I only went that far through the main quest once and it was a few years ago) due to the absence of an Emperor and the necessity of their work, and are now employed in deep cover operations within the Mythic Dawn in order to more effectively decimate their command structure later.
Or maybe something less drastic, I pretty much just wanted a way to work for the government but still be a stealthy thief-type character. I had another idea if this just doesn't seem good at all.

hum, it dont sound like a bad idea, and quite intresting, but kind of reminds me of the 'Blades' to a digree lol. [can look at them in info area if you like] let me think about this a while. due to the fact its late here [mind is going lol] and I would like my fellow Admin [Black Rose] to give her opinion too. but i like the idea and its not bad at all ^^ it may need some tweeking and we'll let you know.
In the mean time you can have someone in the Blade, or any kind of character you want [no limits to how many or what type. lol]

I was considering that, but when I thought about it I thought I remembered the Blades were just the Emperor's personal guard rather than a 'for the good of the Empire' kind of thing. On the other hand, I don't have any ideas for a name... Well, it is late so I'll wait to make a character until tomorrow anyway. (My other idea is much less likely to impact other people, so I'll just see what you think when I make it a character.)

i do like the idea and they really do remind me of the blades. if you played morrowind not just oblivion the blades are a network of spies for the emperor only the emperor to command. what you describe can be a 'sub-section' of the blades. that way you don't need to create a entire new guild with rules and such nonsense.
the 'sub-section' of the blades can do what they need to do by the saying 'the ends justify the means.' be there motto. and since the blades only respond to the emperor you have all bases covered.
p.s you say you character is a good thief...>3 looks like Ygg might have competition XD

I see... Sorry, I played Morrowind a little, but I only got it because I was getting Oblivion and it was on sale. I didn't get very far before I switched.
Anyways, it does seem very similar to the Blades then. Is everything else good?

Morrowind hates me. I own everyone in Oblivion... but Morrowind on the other hand. Lets just say I fought an old lady shop keeper on hard and... Well... I kinda died... So Oblivion (to me) is far better then Morrowind. And I found out that the easiest way to pick a lock is hit the timbler up once, and when it comes down you hit it again. Wait a second. Then hit A. It works for me, don't know 'bout you guys though.

Morrowind was difficult until i got the hang to the controls then i pawned all... :coughs: but yeah oblivion is rather easy compared to oblivion i adore oblivion but love Morrowind.. only because oblivion essentially centers around imperials.. and i dislike the imperial race. :shrugs: so it knocked down the points for oblivion for me a bit. but still a good game all around... i wish they had finished some of the quest that they never scripted in though and oblivion is missing the depth of story that Morrowind had... just sooo much it was amazing too bad they should probably redo Morrowind ...probably kill any computer and gaming consul that it would play on... hehe
