Name: Akasha
Age: 24
Race: Kajiit
Birth Sign: Thief
Hair: light – brown fur and a same color mane which is very short and tied back with hanging bangles in typical Kajiit style
Eyes: gold
Guild/Facion Part of: None.
Appearance: Akasha is a typical Kajiit in appearance, her tail long and graceful and her eyes pricked always for sound. Her coat is light brown in color with dark brown spots coloring the back of her body while the front of her body is a pale tan. She is on the shorter side, standing only at 5’2”. Her body is lithe, the end result of always staying moving.
Clothes: Akasha likes soft fabrics and darker colors and can usually be seen in a gown sporting these traits. She sees herself as a lady and dresses accordingly on most occasions. However, when adventuring, she wears a comfortable but strong set of light armor, usually leather, but sometimes stronger materials depending on the situation.
Personality: Generally, Akasha is very formal and soft-spoken, however, when she gets to know someone, the quirky side of her starts to peek out, especially her wicked sense of humor. In a classic DND game, Akasha would be considered Chaotic Good. In frustrating situations, she tends to forget her manners and surprisingly, can swear like a sailor. After things have calmed down though, she'll be very embarrased by her slip in decorum.
Likes: Finery, especially shiny things, bandits (although she’s usually killing them, she can relate to them. They’re criminals, true, but they’re also adventurers in a way and if it hadn’t been for them, she wouldn’t be where she is today)
Dislikes: Beggers (she won’t be outright mean to them and will even donate to them, but she’d rather avoid them if she can), Goblins and Scamps (foul, nasty creatures they are)
Favourite Food: Boar meat
Favourite Drink: None at current
Weapon: Claws, Swords, Daggers, Bow
Powers: Eye of Night
Friends: Lucienna (NPC available for adoption), miscellaneous citizens of Cheydinhal
Girl/Boy Friend: None
Family: Mother – Khana, Father – K’vin, Sister – Cosira, Brother – M’rek
Lives: Has a nice home in Cheydinhal.
History/More Info: Akasha was born in the Elswyr and when she came of age, she left home to make her fortune in the land of Cyrodill. Originally, she’d intended on becoming a simple merchant, specializing in herbs and spices from her exotic homeland, but as she headed north towards the Imperial City, a group of bandits attacked her.
She’d barely been able to defend herself, only managing to survive by remembering the martial arts moves her father had tried to teach her. At the time, she felt she hadn’t really learned anything, but her skill was evident enough in practice. Soon, the bandits lay unconscious or dead around her, and rather then simply leave quickly, she knelt down next to the leader bandit’s body. He’d been carrying a small amount of gold, a simple dagger, probably iron, but of greater note, a small ring with a sapphire inset into it. On the inside of the band, ‘May Mara guide you. –Lucienna’ was inscribed. Akasha had a feeling that this ring had been taken from one of the bandit’s victims and she looked towards the Imperial City, the tower visible even from this distance. Somewhere there probably, since ‘Lucienna’ sounded like an Imperial name, the supposed widow waited for her husband. Pocketing the ring, Akasha moved on to the next body, a new destiny for herself already in mind.
Sometime later, she arrived at the city, having taken care to move quickly and quietly in order to avoid any more bandits. Lucienna had been relatively easy to find since she was a rich noblewoman with close ties to the Temple. She confirmed that the bandit had stolen the ring and was saddened to learn her husband wouldn’t come home. Grateful for Akasha’s service, however, she gave her a small purse of gold, about 150 pieces and gave her a reference to her friend in Cheydinhal. Nodding her thanks to Lucienna, surprised at such a reward she’d been given, she set out for Cheydinhal, having decided adventuring could be much more profitable then being a merchant.
In Cheydinhal, she met Lucienna’s orc friend who asked her to kill a gang of bandits in a cave nearby. In return, he’d set her up with a nice home. The reward was worth it so Akasha set out for the cave, sneaking up and killing the bandits one at a time. At one point she’d been spotted so quickly retreated, the bandits chasing her back to town. The guards fought them off and she rested before moving back out again and finishing them.
Now with a home base, Akasha heads out regularly, either on missions for her fellow townsfolk (always with nice rewards) or simply hunting in the wilderness, refining her skills.
