Deep in the Black wood where it was quite a few miles before you reached any city….in the mountains, was a ancient ruin. The door seemed to be bound shut and hidden with branches and stuff, only over years and years most of it had rotted away. Deep inside slept a immortal from the past.
Inside the ruin there might have been some old chests of some valuables possibly, drawing in treasure or thrill seekers. The place being aligned with booby traps was its reason for now having so many undead…ghosts and whatnot. of course rats and a few mud crabs made there homes here too.
Deeper inside there was a large almost empty room aside from pillars, fallen pillars and bones from lord know what. Old candles and torches scattered about also. And then in the center…there was a stone table….with a semi-large coffin laying upon it. Seemed to have some kind of old writing on it. Also chained to the table, with a few silver weapons and whatnot laying around. Inside someone or thing slumbered peacefully….for many years…. Yet to be awoken. But forgotten in the passage of time itself.

Yggdrasil was wondering in the mountains looking for ruins that no one seemed to have broken into yet, cause honestly all the bandit and marauders in the ruins, caves and forts makes a simple bard/treasure hunter's job rather hard... He looked up at a strange smell it was musty old and stale, the smell of some place just opened after not seeing the light of day in a very long time. Yggdrasil smiled and quietly made his way over to area filled with ruins of some kind. he looked inside the opened door. the door itself looked like it was rotted and finally fell down. "hmm so obviously its just begging to be explored..." he chuckled to himself. he knows obviously one of these days his Bosmeri curiosity would get the best of him.
he went into the ruins quiet and careful finding a wonderful treasure trove of things, most of it very old. this would get him some good cash, though he'd keep all the gems and jewels he found, he slide those into his satchel. he wondered around the ruins being careful were he stepped, who knows what traps lie here in wait for those who no one wants to enter. he worked his way threw and down to the lower levels it was a few hours worth of work. finding the things that would fetch him the most money and keeping the things he's like to have. he came across a room that looked sealed tight, he grinned. the better the door the better the stuff. Yggdrasil knelt near the door being careful not to put too much weight on the floor encase of pressure sensitive tiles.
the locks slowly clicked open one by one and he opened the door. he stepped into the room carefully, there were tons of silver weaponry laying on the ground. Yggdrasil whistled softly some kind of battle must have taken place here. but what caught his eye was the Casket on the raised daius in the room. this place was a tomb..."oooh the best stuff in buried with the dead guy". yggdrasil made his way carefully over to the platform and looked at the casket, there were locks everywhere on the he started to open then sensing no traps on the casket. one by one the locks fell open, as he opened them a nagging sensation in the back of his head built and built until the final one clicked open, and he read the top of the casket, there was a warning carved on top it old tongues.
"may what lies in this casket, stay locked away forever. for ever if it is opened we pray for the world..."
"oh no...." Yggdrasil whispered as he got a sinking feeling.

The words with a deep inscription, and meaning would most likely stick in someone’s mind.
"May what lies in this casket, stay locked away forever. for ever if it is opened we pray for the world..."
Though for most, whom would that stop from wanting a small peek still? Though by this time it was kind of to late….the chains seemed to brake a spell deeper within. Thanks to the Bosmer Hybrid……all thanks to him. Not the question in pending would be….would whatever it was pop out and eat him? Of perhaps pop out and thank him…? Or….just pop out and give him a heart attack….
Eyes slowly opened. Dusty in there. But something begin to stir. The lid cracked open seem to let out some trapped in dusty air. As it began to slide upward and then clawed thin fingers slid between the opening and pulled on the side of the lid. And push it off until it suddenly fell off the base and fell to the ground with a loud clang, hitting the stone slab and then the floor, making a few nearby rats squeal and run off.
Slowly someone, err thing sat up, long hair partly covered in cobwebs and dust remained flowing back into the coffin. Eyes face pale thin, clothes seemed somewhat or used to be fancy, least Ygg was right about one thing, a few shiny necklaces hung from his thin neck and a few rings along his fingers. For the longest moment the male seemed to just sit there, eyes closed, but as soon as they opened in a flash he grabbed hold of Ygg and twisted towards the side facing him, one hand tightly on Ygg’s shoulder the other on his other upper arm. Pulling him deadly close and ruffling with his caller/armor(?) pulling it away from the Elf’s neck. He leaned forward breath on Ygg’s neck as his fangs seemed to grow a bit longer. Gripping Ygg tightly he ran his mouth lightly over the exposed flesh. Until his eyes lightly narrowed. And as soon as all this happened regardless how long it seemed…..He just suddenly let him go and pulled back now sitting in his ‘bed’ once more. Eyes a little narrow as he seemed like someone trying to wake up.

Yggdrasil fell backwards as he was let go of what obviously was a vampire, its grip and landed on his back end. he shook his head, well he was definitely right about one thing there were shiny things on him. though technically the one in the casket was 'alive'. yggdrasil thought to himself...oh what have i done. and rubbed his neck it was a very close call on that one. even though he had some resistance to disease. sometimes he did get sick and well... it was never a nice variant if the disease. Yggdrasil looked up at the Vampire he was old, he just wondered how old....wait now is not the time to wonder how old a vampire was. he started to back away slowly so maybe the vampire wouldn't notice him.

[heh]
The Vampire sat there a moment maybe groggy…er not a ‘morning’ person. He took a deep breath of fresh-er air and looked up and around. Before brushing his hair out of his face and turned climbing out of the coffin, kind limp, not so strong yet perhaps? A little wobbly as he ran a hand over his latest place of slumber then looked around once more before sitting on the stone table, and looking towards Ygg with almost burning Red eyes.
“So…you freed me from my slumber…why?” his voice seemed to echo, but it was also very dry and almost raspy….imagine years without something to drink do to someone.
He silently watched the elf for a while. Having to control his hunger, the elf would have made snack if not for what ‘else’ run though his veins, though the blood nearly screamed to him. He paused poor elf most likely scared…? He still sat there a moment trying to get his Barings, before standing at his full height. “Is it sun up or down outside? And what year is this? Be you descent of the priestess who sealed me here?” he razed a brow, why else would the elf be here?

Yggdrasil looked up at the Vampire, why was he here? oh yeah treasure...stupid obsession with shiny things...the vampire asked why he opened the crate he honestly was having second thoughts about coming here..he really really was so stupid sometimes. "uh... it was morning when i found this place and its been a while it could be night I'm not sure... and the year is third era year of Akatosh 433." he was totally ignoring the why he was here part... i mean all the stuff he took could belong to mister tall, dark, gruesome and and fangs...there were days he was so happy vampires could read your thoughts...speaking of tall dark and gruesome he wondered how Nyorith was doing and if he made it too Cyrodiil yet....
yggdrasil had zoned out and one could see it in the hybrid's eyes they were unfocused. and his mouth moved once in a while... and then the bread they made here never tasted as good as that khajit... khajit's i wonder do they get cold in the snow? i mean they are from a warm place? or would they be fine.

The Vampire watched Ygg for a while…..a little confused. But then paused gritting his teeth he looked down. “Its been……years….” he groaned deeply…..revenge practically flew out the window. Less he wanted to just go on a killing spree he could start with this elf. He sighed deeply, hopefully the elf was right and it was night out now, what….a odd elf….
By the way he was acting he was either scared out of his wits? Or…shouldn’t be venturing out anywhere alone….maybe this was just coincidence and the elf was ret---mental? He sighed and walked around quietly, then ventured over to his coffin and looked inside. “its not here…” he sighed coldly. Then picked up a small gem that look like it broke off something and tossed it towards Ygg, it landed in front of the elf with a few clicks on the ground then started rolling before it stopped.
“Your reward mortal, though you don’t serve as a descent meal, you can show me the way out of this place?” he asked slow and calmly.
[Kidding though when I say mental ^^; I love Ygg. Vamp is just thanking the above ^ lol]

Yggdrasil came to when he saw the gem roll to a stop at his feet, his eyes glittered and shined brightly like gems themselves when he saw the gems.
"shiny...oh what a pretty little thing you are...." he picked it up with a grin and started talking to himself in almost a sing-song voice.
"look at you look at you in the satchel you go with the other pretty shinnies...oh look how many i have what a wonderful little family of shiny things i have.." he giggled a bit. he looked at the satchel.
"do i need a bigger one?" he thought "yes...no..maybe so?" he laughed again. "but there are a lot of big things in this world and not a lot of small things....wait...or is it the other way around." he happily hummed as he closed the satchel full of jewels. he stopped and looked like he just realized the vampire was there.
"where did you come from, who are you?" he said tilting his head with a totally oblivious look on his face like he's never seen the vampire before and he just opened the casket.
((ooc:remember you brought this on yourself XD))

The vampire watched him arms folded…he took a deep breath eye twitching at the whole ‘ordeal’…who was this nut? Honestly thought about locking the elf in the coffin…. His gaze hardened. “You need not know my name, shot me to the exit!” he hissed. Then took a deep breath. This was how the elf wanted to play? He pushed up his sleeve letting something sparkle.
He then went calm almost ghost like and drifted towards that room’s door. That would be the first place to start…maybe he could also lock the elf in the room? He’d have all the ‘shineys’ he wanted…weapons. But he came to a halt glancing back at him and sighed. “You are my Minion….now…” he said plainly… “please show me away out of here…” he said coldly.
[[ohh nuuu sorry crappy post DX]]

Yggdrasil's good mood vanished in a instant. his eyes that held a happy gleam turned sharp and cold and simmered with starlight.
"minion is just another word for slave!" he hissed and got to his feet quickly. he went from happy and oblivious to enraged and hostile with in seconds, even the temperamental Glarthir would be impressed. he no longer 'looked' like a harmless little Bosmer. the air about him was different. it seemed the mental state of the elf changed again, almost like there was no happy medium or the right environment caused the happy medium.
"i suggest you think of another way out of here...even if you attempt to leave me in here or lock me anywhere it won't hold me..."he no longer was made just incredibly cocky and rebellious...

The man stopped and looked towards the elf then turned to completely face him and readied himself claws growing a little. “his aura…completely…changed.” he muttered to himself. He had readied himself for the worst but then the elf seemed to calm down the least and how seemed to be more annoyed and testy then ready to kill… like a wild animal the elf reminded him. Something was ‘off’…..about him. the vampire lowered his guard and simply turned away putting a hand on the doorframe as he exited. But then looked over his shoulder. “I wont..” he said plainly.
He closed his eyes taking a few steps. “and…I apologize…if I offended you.” he said bluntly. But the elf did help him even if unintentional…..he at least owed him that much gratitude? Then again….could have eaten him, so elf should been thankful too…but that here nor there, the vampire continued forward step by step, though stronger when gone so long without blood, but this long was ridiculous…..it reversed when you went this long without it. But he managed so far so fine err well….he just hoped it was night out, that would help a grate deal.

Yggdrasil stopped and looked at the Vampire totally relaxing. "i know people may say minions are better then slaves, but none lived in the slavery of Morrowind, your treatment varied on what house your owner was from."he rubbed his left wrist, and his eyes lost all there simmer, and he looked 'normal'. "i can get you out if here....and sorry for that outburst...i have a very hard time adhering to any form of 'law' or rule of one." he walked towards the door, and grabbed a torch from the wall...but blinked... "uh you wouldn't happen to be able to light this would you?"

The man looked back at Ygg and watched him as he spoke. “I see.” he said plainly. “I have only lived here….though I am not even sure where here is right now.” he sighed shaking his head he watched the elf walk over a little surprised he was still going to help him. He had no real idea what id could have been like to be a slave or anything….he was never once himself. “I thank you.” he said then looked at the torch. And blinked. He was good at magic….
He held his hand out a moment but it had been a while….what if he blew them up or something? He looked a little annoyed as if at the torch but not then nodded. “lets see…” he said and took a deep breath before casting the smallest fire spell he could manage, lets say he didn’t want to risk catching on fire in his current state. After a small flicker the torch lit up with a flame. “hum.” he smirked faintly then stepped back allowing Ygg to lead the way.

Yggdrasil nodded and started to walk out into the hallway. and up a flight of stairs he pushed open the stone door that lead him down stairs. into a grand hall. "wow...this place looks different with a little more light..." Yggdrasil watched were he stepped, "watch were you step, I've disabled some traps. and there are some one cannot disable." he stepped over a pressure plate if one looked there was a crystal like ball with spike attached to the ceiling the plate obviously set it off.
" hang on....i think i'm lost...." he scratched his head for a moment and went to the door ways and looked in the vicinity. "ah this way, i almost tripped over a dead rat on the way down..." he went up more stairs a short winding stairs case into a another hall but it a had a pool of water in it, and one side was caved in. he went through the door opposite and up a short flight of stairs into a room that looked like a entrance hall. the walls were being held together by vines and tree roots. there was moonlight shining threw the cracks in the walls.
"that's moon light. its obviously nighttime just how long its been is a another story..." Yggdrasil said as he held his hand out to a moon beam..."i wonder.." he snuffed out the torch and walked over to a room that was locked prior when he first came in. in his excitement he forgot about he vampire...
"it is open..." Yggdrasil smiled as he went to the door were the markings on the door were alight in the moonlight. and in the room situated on a iron holder was a welkyd stone not just any, a great welkyd stone...
"i can't believe what i found...mom would be so happy to see one again..." he ran his hands along the side and the crystal hummed slightly. "she was right it would react." he picked it up the great welkyd stone.."this will be mine...no one will have this again..." he said his eyes were glowing the same color as the stone, as he looked at the it."you were taken from your real home weren't you...when your city fell..." he put down his pack and took of his wrap he had around his neck and wrapped the crystal in it.

The vampire fallowed him hastily, couldn’t wait to get out of here though remained calm and didn’t show how exited he really was inside, to be able to bathe in the moonlight again. As he fallowed the elf he was sure to watch out for any traps also taking note of where he was and where everything was. Not that he ever wanted to see this place again, but whatever.
And of course a pleasant way to tell were you are is nearly killing yourself over a fall on a dead rat…lovely thought…. The vampire found the elf amusing, annoying now and then but not half bad, better then no company for as many years as he has been ‘away’
When they stopped by the entrance-exit, he also stopped and looked to Ygg. “It is night indeed.” he nodded then paused the elf wasn’t the least interested in him at the moment. He smirked a little as he seemed to find another ‘friend’. after Ygg bagged the new gem he pushed open the door. Stopping at first then taking a few steps up the stone stairway… leaving the door open for the elf assuming he’d soon appear behind him. As he stepped off the stone path and onto the grass and dirt even felt good under his feet.
He seemed to winced a little and walked a few paces before tilting his head back eyes closed taking deep breaths of fresh air, bringing his hands up a little then shook a little getting a lot of dust off. “moonlight….” he muttered opening his eyes. ‘never felt so good….”
