He nodded lightly as she said she still had things to learn, but wasn’t this true for everyone? Even himself, perhaps had room to improve, he’d like to think he didn’t, but of course that wouldn’t be untrue, even he would have to admit that. he watched her and nodded before taking the glass, he didn’t really stop but seconds namely it was reflex to make sure it wasn’t poisoned, he didn’t doubt her but he just found himself doing so anyway. He razed it to his lips and took a few drinks before letting out a mild sigh. “Maybe, but the choice was not mine alone, I just have the duties of gathering the family members the Night Mother and Sithis seek out.” he informed her, his eyes both looked relaxed but serious. Always so serious.
He nodded taking the bowl. He sucked in deeply and smirked silently. “I have never been able to cook” he stated. “food that gives life, I’m better at creating things to take it away” he stated. Of course meaning his poisons. But that was alright wasn’t it? He nodded and took a bite this time he didn’t hesitate trying to shake the reflexes he’d taught himself. “its good” he muttered before taking another bite, he wasn’t really the type of man to be good at complimenting someone, and he didn’t really get worked up or excited over a lot, epically when in a decent mood.
He smirked and nodded. “Everything is fine, perhaps is just a bit strange to be stopping like this while out, I am normally present back at my fort or the sanctuary when I actually stop for anything.” he chuckled. “congratulate yourself, that if I did remove your head, I may not have a good meal right now.”

She smiled gently as she took in the smells of all the food and the drinks before her and sighed with relief. Her work was done and now all she had to do was wait and see what he would think, though she wouldn't care either way...would she? Looking at the man across the table from her, Celina could only fathom what he was thinking and still she was bothered, at least a little on how he would take it. Biting her bottom lip, Celina did her best not to act so worried, whether he noticed or not she would soon find out. Yawning she was exhausted with the lack of jobs as of late and her patience was wearing thin.
"Lucien, is there something going on with the contracts? They seem to be...less frequent as they used to." she stated simply before sitting down next to him. Tearing into the meat, the girl smiled at her product and was thrilled with how it turned out, though she was pretty sad that Lucien took it so mildly, still what else was she to expect. Then she heard the small compliment escape and a smile graced her tan face and she bowed her head and nodded before taking another bite into her mouth, savoring the juices. She then smiled at his smirk and shrugged, "You should go outside the lines sometimes dear, it's more fun that way." she teased him and winked before taking another sip of the ale. "Look at me, I'm such a blast." she joked lightly. Then hearing his shot at humor, Celina laughed, "See look at that, Lucien Lachance making a joke, shall I mark this event?" she teased him gently before smiling. This was nice, calm and friendly, she was having fun.

He watched her momentarily before eating again. This woman wasn’t to bad, he often was picky with him he aloud to just hang around him, if that was the right choice in words. But then he looked up again partly stunned by her almost random question, not many lower members dared to ask him directly, he smirked lightly she did have spunk though. He stopped eating a moment pondering how to reply then nodded thinking of the best way and a way not to worry anyone either. “as our family grows they are taken care of by more people, however the matter is that there seem to be quite a few people whom have stopped praying to the Night Mother for their wishes. And by ‘wishes’ he meant murder, of course. “perhaps it’s a lack of respect or people just lack the knowledge of how to pray to her Unholyness”
He ate a little more then took a long drink savoring the flavor, usually what he cooked for himself wasn’t really that great, of course sometimes there was the idea that one day he would accidentally mix up the poisoned apples and the regular ones. He chuckled and shook his head. “Perhaps I should, however I feel like I owe our Mother and Father so much, I hate to be ungrateful of my part in the Black Hand” he stated with a light nod then sucked in a deep breath and took another few bites, close to finishing it off he looked at her dully when she commented about his attempt at humor, waved a hand and put it on her head and ruffled her hair and sighed lightly. “perhaps to much fun that you have” he stated. “I could book you with contracts right now if I wanted to, or perhaps you wanted that all along and you are kissing up” he folded his arms eyes closed, he wasn’t really serious, besides when he was serous it was more, silence, glare, then maybe, ….stab….

Celina saw the slight emotion of shock in his eyes as she asked her question, though the look soon came across her own as well, "Lucien, you don't believe that do you?" she asked about no one remembering how to pray to the Night Mother. The thought made her scared that soon her family would become obsolete and she would have no one else there for her once more. "I mean, with the way the contracts are flowing in, it seems like...something's wrong." she stated simply. She knew all the members were thinking the same thing, but unlike them, Celina was never afraid of asking what's going on.
Laughing at his statement, Celina shook her head, "Darling, you of all people could never be ungrateful of your part in the order. You work harder than most of us here." she stated, swishing around the goblet of ale in a relaxed way. Hearing him state that she was trying to kiss up to him, she smiled and leaned forward curiously, "Sweetheart, if I was kissing up to you, I'd be on your lap right now making you enjoy the night even more." she teased with a wink before taking another bite of the food and smiling. "Or maybe...that's what you want?" she asked with a cheshire grin, not that she wouldn't refuse, but she'd put up a good fight before finally allowing him to overpower her. The idea made her squirm in her chair but she tried to ignore it. Staring up at him, Celina laughed, "You really do have quite a great sense of humor, love." she said winking once more.

Lucien’s eyes rested on her momentarily before he drew a deep breath folding his arms on the table just in front of him. “hmm what may you be suggesting then? Perhaps the higher-up members of our Brotherhood is just hogging them, do not worry yourself about it, things will look up.” of course when things looked ‘up’ for them, it looked down for other people in a sort of way. He smirked inwardly and slightly shook his head at the thought.
He chuckled lightly at her comment. “That maybe true, and also am not so easily won over by such acts might even get disciplined.” he pointed out, no he wouldn’t kill them, most likely, but something would happen, honestly he wasn’t sure what would happen, because something that strange had never happened to him before but he was sure there would be some kind of reaction upon reflex and instinct. He chuckled at her last comment about his since of humor. “perhaps only I think you have to have the same taste in humor to find it funny” he pointed out, that was true, kind of like imperial guards, having no humor. Indeed.
He tilted his glass up and finished his drink, pushing it and the bowl back he smiled lightly eyes closed and leaned back in his chair seeming to actually relax for a moment.

Celina shook her head and sighed gently, "I guess you're right, still, I'm worried, Vicente told me not to but, I am." she admitted, something seemed out of place with the Brotherhood, though she would never outright say anything. Looking around, the house seemed quiet, peaceful, like for the first time the pair could enjoy themselves, without thinking about work or anything else in their lives, at least from her perspective. Seeing him smirk and shake his head, Celina tilted her own, "What?" she asked, a light smile playing on her lips before looking into his eyes.
Hearing the term discipline, Celina laughed, "Lucien, you're almost tempting me." she joked lightly, "After all, you know I'm such a sucker for authority." she winked at him teasingly before taking another drink, okay so maybe the ale was getting to her head just a little, still it was all in good fun, she was a tease at heart, she always was. Tucking a strand of blue black hair behind her ear, Celina laughed gently, "Maybe, I think we just appreciate a good sense of humor. Still, yours is pretty great." she joked, she never imagined that this could go so well. Seeing his relaxed status, Celina smiled and tilted her head, "You look happy, is something on your mind?" she teased before getting up.
She leaned over and took the bowls and leaned over to grab his and smiling, "You seem calm now." The hilt of her dagger shown in the bodice of her shirt, she generally kept it there in case of a quick get away from the guards. Still, she enjoyed that it caught the attention of her victims, normally it would be the last thing they would see, along with another nice view of something else, but she wouldn't go there. Placing them on the counter, she sat down and poured herself another glass of ale, it made her feel pretty good, she had to admit. Looking at Lucien, she thought about how most of the time she found the man so hard to deal with. He did have quite a few difficult qualities such as his constant lurking in the shadows and staying away from all human contact, this was for sure hard to work around. Now, having a conversation with the man, Celina thought his mysteriousness was pretty..attractive?
The idea shocked her so much that she fell of the chair in sudden realization, no, Lucien Lachance was NOT attractive, he was cold, emotionless, ruthless, funny, charming, smart, NO! her mind screamed for her as she lay on the wooden floor. No...she did NOT have a crush on Lucien Lachance!

Lucien Lachance watched her closely wondering what exactly she and Vicente spoke about but he wasn’t really worried about it, however he felt it too, something was a brew however he tried not to worry himself to much about it for now anyway, perhaps it was just the same as other people’s concerns about the Oblivion gate outside of Kvatch. He chuckled mildly at her other words and shook his head. “Authority?” he smirked. Pausing a moment. “perhaps if you had fallowed a different path in life you would be hunting me.” he stated, it was possible wasn’t it? Who knew he took another drink.
He sighed lightly. “just at peace I suppose.” he stated. “now that is a thought, a assassin at peace, though I suppose it is possible, just while we are…” he pointed upstairs where the bedroom of the not dead person was. “no one else can be?” he smirked and shook his head. Whatever. He drew in a deep breath then contemplated for a moment on his rather unique Family.
However he was shattered from his thoughts and could only look up blinking and dumbfounded as she fell out of her chair, what happened?! His guard automatically flared, thinking there might have been some kind of attack, he stood, shockingly he still had a calm stance but looked a bit confused she wasn’t bleeding and she seemed….alright?
“Celina?” he asked razing a brow confused, wait was the food poisoned? Did the homeowner some how---no that didn’t seem likely, plus he was good at poisons he would had noticed and tasted them, correct? He thought silently to himself and wasn’t really something to loose his tempter over but he was mostly just taken back. “are you……all right?” it was most likely the dumbest thing to ask but it was simple and to the point because he didn’t have a clue.

Celina coughed and started laughing as the thought crossed her mind over and over again. No, there was no way in Oblivion, that she fancied Lucien Lachance! Sitting up, the girl began to giggle even harder as she stared at him, No. "Not to worry darling, i'm fine. Too many thoughts with too much ale." she spoke before standing up and sitting up her chair again. She tilted her head and smiled, "Why, you weren't worried about me were you dearest?" she teased him before sighing gently.
"Don't worry, i'm fine, it was just an accident." she said before swishing the drink in her goblet. At this point in time, the assassin felt like the biggest idiot in the world as she felt Lucien's gaze upon her. Attempting to ignore it the girl sighed and stood up, "Guess I'm not that quick on my feet anymore." she joked lightly. "You probably want to get some rest before tomorrow, so I should let you retire. I'll take care of cleaning up." she poured the ale outside through the window and looked out at the stars, "Pretty." she whispered as the glowed from the sky. Sighing, she looked back at him and smiled, "Thank you." she spoke gently before turning back towards the kitchen, her heat in her cheeks rising but she would never let him see it.

He watched her still confused. What just happened? After a moment he finely just concluded she was a bit drunk, also with her own words he left it at that. He sighed lightly and picked up his glass instead of replying and emptied it quickly. It took a lot to actually make him a but tipsy but he felt it creeping up however was better at hiding it, or at least not falling out of chairs maybe? “well I thought there might have been some kind of attack” he sighed watching her. “anything that happens to any of my sisters or brothers, bothers me” he stated, wait now he stopped to rethink is words, he sounded a bit to nice there, he cared but maybe not as much as he just made it sound. Well…….he could blame that on the drink.
He paused as she spoke again and thought about sleep it was nice, but not something he often did with someone else nearby. He rubbed his brow lightly. “perhaps then, but command we take shifts incase someone stops by the home’ he stated, he was a light sleeper and would most likely wake up at the slightest movement, thanks to training, but he thought it at least sounded fair and she would need sleep as well.
Upon leaving the kitchen he glanced back at her and shook his head. “no, Thank you” he nodded. After all, what a fine cook.

Celina smiled brightly and nodded, "Same with me, it bothers me as well." she whispered softly before standing up and looking around, "Y-You thought I was attacked? Lucien, give me a little credit, we would have heard something." she said with a wink before managing to shake her head, hearing him suggest taking turns was out of the question. She was fine and a nightowl all the time, so staying up would be no problem. "That's alright dear, you go ahead and sleep, I'll be perfectly fine." she said while leaning against the door, making sure that he understood she was serious.
Hearing him leave, Celina smiled gently and nodded, "The pleasure was mine." she whispered softly before watching the stars above her. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." sighing to herself, the girl bit her lip nervously and turned around wanting to speak but unable to say anything and thus shrugged and turned back, hiding her embarrassed face from Lucien. Something was completely off with the girl and she wouldn't let him see until she figured everything out. Growling to herself, Celina sighed, curse her girlish emotions, she had to get under control of her feelings.

He nodded lightly and shook his head. “I apologies” he smirked slightly razing a brow then nodded. “fine then” he stated with a small nod before turning back to the other room, of course he wanted to stay awake but more he thought about it the more sleep called to him.. Well perhaps he could trust her, it wasn’t that he didn’t, but it was just that since of being on guard that he’d grown to hold onto. Being aware of all at all times perhaps trusting little to no one. He pushed open a door to what seemed to be a guest room, at least it was free of any bleeding bodies, to say the least. He sat on the edge of bed and slid the dagger he kept with him, under the pillow for easy accuses.
[[OOC: I am sorry this post is one of my worst, but I was wondering if you would like to skip ahead to the next day or so?]]

Celina was exhausted but tried not to let it show as she began to go outside and hunt for fruits and other things to eat, granted she didn't wander too far seeing as she wanted to be close in case of trouble. No, the girl wasn't that stupid, finding a few things to make breakfast, she sighed and began to walk back towards the house, attempting not to trip over herself from lack of sleep. Her ears were disrupted by the sounds of horses and she stopped and turned, hiding behind a tree nearby. Imperial guards. Her eyes narrowed with anger and hatred as she reached for her katana, dropping all food in the process.
No, she had to get to Lucien. That was her priority, it seemed they were heading straight for the d**n house as well. Picking up her skirt, she rushed forward sneaking in the shadows as she slid through the cellar door quietly. "Lucien! We've got company!" she shouted as she shut the door to the living room. She wasn't sure if she heard anything so she got up and ran to the room he was in and knocked, "Are you up? Looks like a few Imperial guards, Do you want me to handle them?" this made her blood burn with a fire she hadn't felt in years. She would kill every one of those murdering scum if it was the last thing she did. Blue eyes were dark with hatred as she waited for his answer, slowly pulling out her katana and imagining it running through the throat of each solider outside. A murderous smile crossed her face as she door opened.

Lucien knew that something was up, perhaps just instinct or blessings of his unholy mother. He was gathering his things as he heard her shout, soon enough knock on his door. “I am” he stated reassuring her. Imperial guards then? He sighed and tucked his dagger away, soon she asked if she needed to take care of them he thought on this, as much as he didn’t mind shedding blood….it would most likely be unwise, if they could slip away and the blood look like the male was killed possibly a few days ago they also wouldn’t have to worry about guards finding dead guards. Though he wanted to slit some throats himself he gave a light sake of his head. “no we need leave while he have the chance it is best to try not and cause any trouble that may befall the family if they are smart enough to figure it out.” he stated doubtful but it was the best route.
However it seemed this would prove to be to late for ideas as the front door opened. Lucien drew back and pulled his blade, as the door opened wide Lucien sent a spell flinging towards the being, sadly the person was missed and fell back on his butt, but on closer inspection it wasn’t a Imperial guard at all, no less any heavy armor. Yoko was sitting on his butt looking up at where the spell hit the door, a bit pale faced, how could that person know he was come----- he looked towards Lucien whom looked ready to kill him along with that weird Redguard with a Katana. “WOAH WAIT!” he cried standing up waving his hands eyes wide. Oh in the name of Sithis what was LUCIEN doing HERE?! He looked half panicked other half just stunned.

Celina stared at him as he told her they should leave, part of her wanted to yell out in protest the other wanted to nod and obey. She was torn between two ideas and suddenly she was given one, the door flew open and she braced herself to stay and fight, drawing her weapon with ease and skill. Glaring she was about to launch an attack when Lucien struck first, sending a spell that missed by an inch, this made her furious as she prepared to attack the man again when suddenly the person looked scared out of their wits.
Leaning forward she noticed that this person wasn't an Imperial Guard and she stayed poised in case of danger, suddenly the man stood up and started shouting. Celina knew that voice and she lowered her weapon, a smile on her face. Rushing forward she hugged the man and giggled, "Yoko!" She said with a laugh before pulling back, "It's okay Lucien, it's just Yoko!" she said waving at him with relief. "Are you alright? You nearly scared us half to death." she then frowned at him, and put her hands on her hips, "We could have killed you! You have to be more careful." she said worriedly. Though Yoko was much taller than she was, Celina felt worried for the boy, she could have murdered him without knowing until the end.

Yoko blinked wide eyes as he was……hugged?! That was weird he kind of just hung there limply now even sure he could get away from her if he wanted to she seemed happy to see him, wished he could say the same his heart was still about to leap out of his chest. “what are you two doing here?” Yoko asked half dazed. “scared YOU!?” he shouted. “yah you almost killed me!” he shouted then looked towards Lucien, why is he here!?” he half gasped half shouted.
Lucien just looked on then gave a light sigh, so it was just the bosmer, that bosmer, the one that hated him, but he didn’t see as a traitor by any means, even as odd as it seemed. “shut your mouth, you will draw unwanted attention” Lucien glared at the elf whom returned his glare, Yoko was how old? He should know better. Perhaps the two would never get along, but they went killing one another with weapons at least it was just glares.
Yoko grumbled. “how could I know, hey my target,” he paused. This must be that ‘bad luck’ playing again…. “you guys took him out didn’t you’ he looked down and gave a heavy sigh before cursing under his breath.. Maybe it would had been better they killed him? He shook his head. “what a pain in the ***” he growled.
